I was so lucky to go to Celine's show twice this week. December 11, 2004 was the last show that I attended and I was able to go with my Mom.
Celine was especially giddy that night. It takes me a few times in watching the shows to realize what's happening around Celine and her voice,
because watching the show anyone would become entranced by it. The version that Celine is singing for the 'A New Day' song is the slower version which is
number 15 on the A New Day Has Come CD.
Celine was going off script which was nice and interacting with the audience. A fan told Celine she loved her. Celine replied, "I love you too."
Another fan said she loved her more. Then Celine replied, "I love you most!" It was all very cute and then while Celine was replying to the last girls
comment, she rolled her eyes upward like wow you guys are just the greatest. She was giggling a lot after the Seduces Me song, blowing kisses
and throwing in her own dance moves when she ran across the stage.
I was just wondering if Celine would ever bring children on stage for the Christmas song. She did add the dancers in back of her, they were
all holding candle sticks that were lit up. It was like the dancers were Christmas carolers. This change was only made within the four days of my last show.
What a wonder night, when you know you can go to bed right after the show and you have just been sung to by CELINE DION!!! At the end I noticed that she did
Elvis's signature move, the one he ended his shows with in Las Vegas.

We (my mom, my friend, and I) were off to the Florentine Room to go to the Ella
Awards. I am not going to go into details of how I got in, just know that I got in. Celine
arrived at 11:30 p.m., she entered from within the Florentine Room, through a private
entrance. She was wearing what looked like a prom dress, almost 80’s style. It was a
black dress, cut short, mid thigh length, and there was a very large bow on the left side. I
did not know many of the faces that attended the assembly, but I did recognize David
Foster. Celine made an acceptance speech, thanking the Ella committee for the award.
She made her way through the crowd and spent a while mingling with the attendees and
going around to certain tables. She was congratulated by many and she posed for the
photographers and anyone who wanted a picture. Celine looked at me so I gave her a hug
and congratulated her on the award. Celine said, “Thank you very much.” Then she
posed for me with her funny expressions and movements, like a fashion model in a photo
shoot. For some unknown reason I feel like I have a good connection with Celine because
when I take pictures of her she gets in her carefree goofy state. The event was an
important one for Celine and it was cool that she was having fun with me. She was very
serious at the Nevada Ballet Theater, so it was a little different this time, she was more
relaxed. Celine had to leave and when she was leaving she squeezed my hand and said,
“I’ll see you again.”
Every attendee received a Celine Dion bag, that contained a variety of items. Here is the

(The front side of the certificate shows an animation of Celine holding her chest each is

I listened Céline's new album all night and it’s a beautiful cd. - The ticket in was a silver glitter wrist band
that said Society of Singers 2004. I scanned it in, but it doesn’t do it justice, it’s a pretty
souvenir band. Celine left a little after 12:00 through the back entrance. I later saw her
re-entering the Colosseum, she stopped to pose for a picture and then she was rushed in,
by her bodyguards. It was a great event, had lots of fun, and as always every encounter
with Celine has been a beautiful and positive one.

Celebrities that had arrived earlier shook hands and signed autographs for fans, but Céline quickly moved passed to
get up to the escalator. She was stopped by a member of OutKast who asked her a few questions. Celine then got to the escalator and waved to the
fans, she was then greeted by photographers who wanted to take her pictures.
For some reason right after the intermission took place a little bit of Love Could Move Mountains came on. Just about 2 seconds of the
song played and very faintly, but it was enough to give away what song Céline would be singing. Celine's performance was GREAT, I
couldn't believe she brought all of her dancers on stage with her. PEOPLE REALLY WENT CRAZY FOR HER PERFORMANCE!! I was sad to later find out that Celine had
gotten ill. The "smoke" was actually caused by a firework and it was from Usher's
performance. I was lucky to run into a friend of mine that works for a casting agency and he upgraded me to a seat filler on the ground floor with the
celebrities. So I got to see our Diva up close and she looked great.

I was invited to Thursday and Friday's shows (September 2nd and 3rd). I had mezzanine seats and was waiting to be
seated when I found a friend of mine that I hadn’t seen in a while and he was able to
upgrade me to orchestra seats, which was really nice.
Here’s what's new in the show! Céline opens with "There Was A Boy" in a black glitter skirt with a 3/4 length jacket and a red shirt underneath. This outfit is similar to the original pant suit she used to wear, but not so form fitting. Céline’s hair is very straight and long, and a medium brown/honey color, it reminds me of her hair style from the All The Way TV Special. The only weird thing is that she has such short bangs
When Céline sings It’s All Coming Back To Me Now, she uses a lot of movement with
her hands, almost like she is doing a sign language. The dancers got new outfits for I’m
Alive, men wear half blue and half white pants, so when they turn it makes a cool effect.
The girls wear pink, orange, or green dresses, there all very colorful outfits. Celine also
changed how she sings At Last, she put more emotion into it in the way she uses the tones
in her voice when there’s no words to the music. They have stand-ins for the gold bell
hop man and the man in the white outfit. I guess they have the extras for such things as
an emergency or a sick call.
Friday was a plus for my mom she got in for free. A girl came up to my mom and asked if
she wanted to buy a ticket, my mom told her that she should try getting her money back
from the box office. With no luck she came back to my mom and handed her the ticket,
she could not get the money for it because it wasn’t under her name.
On Friday’s show
Celine had some technical difficulties with her microphone and ear piece. She wanted
the microphone to produce a louder sound for I’m Alive. She pointed to her ear and then taped on
the mic and pointed her finger up. Celine was also kissing her index finger and throwing
it out into the audience throughout the show. Celine startled herself, when she sang If I
Could she hit her chest very hard and it made a loud noise on the mic. I have never seen
Celine at the end of a show get so over excited, but she did on Friday. She was carrying
the rose and she seemed to be looking for someone, she never found that person. Her
bodyguards were caught off guard by what she had done, that they motioned her to give
the rose to the nearest person and forced her back up to the stage.

So on the second day we all went down to Hollywood and started walking along the stars. My eyes were quickly glancing at the
celebrity names and my
heart would skip a beat every time I would see a name that started with a "C." We finally got to the Kodak theater, passed a couple of street vendors and
there it was. Celine's Star off by itself, which I thought was cool because it really does stick out. I got on the ground so I could touch the star of the
wonderful Diva.
Then I thought to myself, WOW what a great accomplishment and she deserves all the good things that happen in her life. She brings so much
happiness into the hearts of so many people and I'm glad that she gets recognized for all that she has done. Don't worry Celine Fans, I shined up
the star while I was there!

I was ready to leave and go home, but my mom was heading towards the box
office, so my friend and I followed. As we got towards the middle of the Colosseum a
man was coming out of Celine’s show and asked my mom if she wanted to see the Celine
Show and she said, “Yes.” He replied, “Here you go, enjoy.” The man handed her one
ticket and then my mom turned to us and the man reached into his pocket and gave
another two tickets, I couldn’t believe he had three tickets. What are the odds of someone
having three tickets and all of us meeting at that very moment. It was like the world
stopped and everyone stood still because there was not a single soul around us. After my
mom and I gave him a hug and thanked him, we all ran like lightning to get in. I actually
did not know that Celine was performing, but I later found out that she had been
performing for weeks.
We missed about a half an hour of the show, but it was no big deal we were just
all so happy that we could be there. I noticed some new computer graphics and also in
Love Can Move Mountains the female dancers now have either a blue or purple dress.
Celine had the most energy then I have ever seen in any of her other performances.
Celine danced across the stage so freely and it seemed so not rehearsed almost like
free-style dancing. My mom commented on her looking so vibrant, healthy, and radiant.
Her hair looks beautiful, the color looks right for her and it looks like her eyebrows are
growing back because they are thicker and dark like her natural hair color. Right as I
Drove all night started people started to sit down after they had given her a standing
ovation and Celine replied, “You can’t sit down for this song.” I was thinking the same
thing in my head because it’s just such an energetic song and I was still standing up and
dancing. After that song Celine went to different parts of the audience to get them
energized and to applaud the loudest against the other side. During My Heart Will Go On
Celine became teary eyed because we were yelling and applauding. She gave her speech
and said, “It was another wonderful performance, with the help of all these people (band
& dancers). A French man replied, “And we don’t even want a refund.” Celine replied,
“Are you my neighbor?”
I’m not sure if Celine is seeing a doctor after every show, but he was there last
night. As soon as the show ended he went back stage with about 8 teenage girls that
ended up with programs as they were coming out. I asked a bodyguard that I had only
met once backstage if one of my favorite bodyguards was there, but he said he wouldn’t
be back till November. I’m not sure how all these people remember me, but he asked for
my name because he said I looked familiar to him, and when I told him my name he said
oh YES SHALIMAR, we talked for a little while then he needed to go backstage. When I
got out of the theater I ran into Michel and we talked for a little while, I love his eyes because
it's like looking into Celine's eyes there so captivating and genuine.
I’m so happy that life just keeps getting better in a world that seems so
unforgiving. That for two hours I and 4,099 others can join Celine in her imaginary world
were there is love and happiness. I can forget about all my worries and dream. It’s true
there is always sunlight after the rain and it’s wonderful when things that you can only
dream of come true.

As I approached the Colosseum the marquee that plays Celine’s music video was
thanking Opportunity Village. I didn’t arrive at the Colosseum very early, but I did
manage to get a ticket right at 8:30. It was a good thing that the show was about 5
minutes late, so I didn’t miss a thing. The place was jam packed, everyone wanted a ticket
and there were VIP’s every where. No major changes occurred in the show, but I was so
happy to have attended because all proceeds were going to a worthy cause, Opportunity
Village. Céline in her speech congratulated the employees of Opportunity Village for all
that they do for everyone.I did notice that Je T'Aime Encore has taken on a new meaning for Celine. Before
the song started she said: "I believe you only love truly once in your life, even if the ones
you love are not here with you". At the end of the song Celine became teary eyed, took a
deep breath, and was so choked up with emotion. If she didn’t have to introduce the band
she would have cried right their on stage, but Celine is a strong woman and knows that
the show must go on.
In 'Love Can Move Mountains' she was wearing her overalls and her hair was tied
up in a ponytail. Céline pulled up her pants to show off her legs, hugged a man and did
some of the crazy dance moves a girl showed her at the 100th show after party. She didn’t
sing much of this song because she was having too much fun on the stage free style dancing.
I wanted so much to be on the LCD screen, since I was near the stage. When 'What
A Wonderful World' was sung I was hoping they would pan to my section. Then the
bright lights came shining down on me and I was on the screen, and I blew the audience a
kiss, that was fun. Céline must have had a great vacation because she looked radiant.
Céline ended with thanking Opportunity Village and thanked everyone for coming.
When the credits were rolling a women announced the winning number for a trip
to Australia. The VIP’s all received a gift bag from Celine and special Thank You notes
were left on every seat. A friend of mine was able to give me 1 of the 4 8x10 laminated
mission statements from this special event.
When my mom was in the Celine Boutique, she saw the new Celine Dion Notes
Perfume and it comes with a special gift (Celine Dion Bracelet) when you purchase it, it’s
silver with a heart and a bar that says Celine Dion. She also wondered why they no longer
had the blue card holder case that she had bought for my birthday. She asked the women
what had happened to them and she said that they were discontinued. So this will now
become a sought after collectors item. They put out new clearance items ranging from
50-75% off and here are the items, a paper weight and a trinket box.

Last night, February 6, 2004 was the birthday of a dear friend of mine, her name is
Renee. I was able to spend the day with her and we had a great time. We met at the
Colosseum and later went to the Cheese Cake Factory to celebrate this day. Renee
decided she would take me with her to Celine’s show because her mother could not
attend. We made our way to our seats and spent time talking about Celine’s great
performances and fashion. I wanted her to meet one of my favorite bodyguards so I
introduced her to him and by that time the show was ready to start.
The opening act Celine waits in the shadows of a doorway and the reflection of
the lights from the LED screen revealed to me Celine’s new hair color. I turned to Renee
to tell her that I thought Celine might have dyed her hair. Then she stepped into the light
and I screamed, I could not stop thinking "WOW", it’s the old Celine, SHE'S BACK !!!!.
She looks just like she did 11 months ago before she cut off her hair. She has her hair long, it’s
layered, and a light brown color. She looks absolutely beautiful.
Céline spoke with the audience saying that she was sick for about a week, but she
didn’t loose any time, she was able to dyed her hair. She joked about “Celine” asking her
to fill in for her, but she would be out in 10 minutes, “you know the blonde one !.” She
asked us how we like her hair, and everyone applauded and screamed. Then she told us "Thank
you for being here and attending tonight's show."
The show went on as usual, Celine looked well rested, hit every note, and looked great. Tonight they did give
out the Chrysler Crossfire interactive CD for your PC.

I arrived at Chuck E. Cheese at 5:00 p.m. I knew right away that Celine was there because all you see is Chryslers in the
parking lot. As I walked up to the front door I see two of Celines bodyguards. On the
front door it says sorry for the inconvenience Chuck E. Cheese is closed from 1:00 p.m.
to 7:00 p.m. due to a private party.
When you walk in you were greeted by Bob the
Builder and Chuck E. Cheese. Talking about balloons, there were hundreds of them shaped
like Bob the Builder, and they also had yellow and blue balloons. On the tables you could
see bags of cotton candy.
I look to my right and there were Rene and René Charles they both have Bob the
Builder hats on, Rene is in a black sweater and pants RC has a cute pants outfit. RC hops
on a ride and father and son is as happy as can be. If you haven’t been to a Chuck E.
Cheese the games are in the front and the party room is in the back. The party was mostly
held in the back and there wasn’t a lot of children playing in the front. They were most
likely watching the show that is put on by Chuck E. Cheese and spending time with the
family.
After that I saw Celine's brother Michel coming outside and he grabs a quick
smoke. People asked him if he knew how much longer the party would be, and he said
about 5 min. it went on for another hour. The workers from Chuck E. Cheese helped put
the presents in the car. Then I over heard one of Celine's bodyguards talking on the phone
and he said I am here with about fourty kids and I have a surprise for you he had balloons
and a Bob the Builder kids costume. Every child that attended the event received a
costume and balloons.
Celine's butler walked by me and he had a Bob the Builder hat on
too. A white Caesars Palace limo pulls up and I thought Celine would get into it, but she
didn’t. Céline left at 7:10 p.m. in a black Chrysler Pacifica that was parked right in front of
Chuck E. Cheese.
P.S. Sorry but there will be no pictures out of respect for Celine and her family.

By the time I finally arrived at the ballroom it was 10:40 I get off the escalator and before my eyes is a huge framed poster board of the honorary, Celine Dion, and next to it was a mini mannequin with a black and white dress. My mom and I are talking and ten minutes later I look over her shoulder and see Celine’s bodyguard. I start walking really fast toward Celine because literally I was like 200 feet from her. I got up to her and Rene was holding Celine, they were arm in arm. This is when the slow motion effect comes in, the both of them walk down the isle, it looked like they were getting married all over again. There heads were held high and the look in their eyes, they were just so focused.
My mother even said, “Celine” but nothing got there attention. Celine was wearing a
black dress with a high slit on her right side, a blue necklace that shined like the stars,
and shoes I can’t tell you because I was in awe of her presence. Her hair was clipped up in
the back and it was long. As she entered the doors to the Black and White Ball she was
accompanied by about 12 little ballerinas dressed in pink.
She was heading toward the stage and I had security and bodyguards holding me
back and telling me what I couldn’t do. I’m a risk taker and I was not going to let those
doors slam in my face and shut me out from the party so my mom pushed me forward and
I walked in. I was so hesitant all I could think of was I do not fit in, I’m in jeans and a
sweater, when everyone is wearing black and white. Oh well, what can I do I have to
make the best of what I got and I really didn’t think I would see Celine. I look up at the
stage and Celine’s famous signature is done up in bright lights.
Celine gets on stage and a man introduces her. He tells her to sit on this chair he
has for her and that she will be sung to, he then lays a big bouquet of white roses in her
lap. He later hands her a water bottle telling her she must be tired
(I have the bottle with
her pink lipstick on the straw, and no one bothered me this time). He then asked when she
was finished to sign the bottle and he would later auction it on ebay, and she jokingly said,
“It will be worth more if I drink out of it right.”
Oprah comes on a prerecorded video and wants to congratulate Celine on her
achievements since she could not be there in person. She says, “Truly a new day, you
inspire me, you are the women of the year!” There is much more she said, but I couldn’t
take notes so my mom tried her best to write what she could because security was
bothering her. Then Clint Holmes sang for her. Then Sheena Easton came up and asked
Celine “How you doing?” Easton- “I’m scared of you,” and Celine puts her arm up as if
to show she didn’t have muscles. Easton goes on to say, “This is the voice.” Clint and
Sheena sang a duet. Next was Billy Gillman he sang "One Voice Was Heard", a very
beautiful song and Celine swayed back and forth in her chair.
A man from Cartier gave Celine a silver platter and then she received her women
of the year award which resembled a women with her arms up and Celine duplicated that
pose. She gave a long speech 5 minutes or more and here are a few quotes. She said, “I
like to entertain myself, but how wonderful it is to be entertained by you tonight.” “I just
came a little while ago on stage with my 50 dancers and it is wonderful to see you here.
“I came in with the ballerinas and I felt as if they were my own.” “Thank you for being
here and supporting the Nevada Ballet Theatre.”
She got off the stage laid her water bottle down, stood next to Rene, mingled with
the rich, took pictures and signed a few autographs. She headed out of the ballroom I took
a few pictures of her signing autographs and Billy Gillman got one from her. The
bodyguards did not want to many people around her and so they kept everyone away. I
followed her to the elevator, she waved bye and then the doors shut. Rene was a little late
he was holding Celine’s award and no one was by him the bodyguards were motioning
for him to come.
I go back into the ballroom because I notice people coming out with white boxes.
I saw that Celine’s water bottle is still where she left it so I took it and after a few minutes
felt a sense of relief, no one wanted the water bottle.

Another year has gone by, but what a great one it has been. OK!!! ;) I am on my
way to the strip and five minutes into the ride a Celine song comes on. I know instantly
and say to my mom “OH MY GOD SOMETHING GREAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN
TONIGHT,” I don’t have a ticket, but I am still optimistic I will get in to the show. So I arrive at the Colosseum
it’s 6:00 p.m. and I have an hour to try to get a ticket. I’m waiting and I finally
get the guts to ask some people. First man I ask, yeah he is selling tickets, but only as a
pair and for $300 bucks. Two girls catch my eye and they are selling tickets too and one
of them tell me they have a $127 ticket, but can sell it for $100. I scrape up my money
and I end up with $61 and they tell me fine, sold. It’s 7:00 enter the Colosseum, I never go
to my assigned seat, I find a friend of mine and while I’m talking one of Celine’s
bodyguards passes and I meet and greet with him. It’s almost 7:30 so I find a seat next to
the sound check guys (it’s an area in the middle of the theater). Five minutes until the
show starts Rene finds his seat in the sound check booth and then the show starts.
There have been some changes to Celine’s wardrobe here is what I found.
Opening act Nature Boy we all know Celine’s hair is growing out, but they still
use the prerecorded video of Celine coming down in an imaginary stair case. Her hair is
short in the video and she uses a black pant suit with a white shirt under. Now she
actually uses a black dress that is cut to look like a suit with a red bustier underneath. The
next song Power Of Love lights go black and Celine appears with the Red bustier and it
turns out to also be a dress. At the end of the song Celine stops to talk with us she wants
to wish us “A Happy New Year and Peace On Earth.” Celine’s boys are still not wearing
shirts in Seduces Me and she tells the audience “I will give them a few minutes to get a
shirt on, or nothing!” In another song Celine comes out in a pink sparkle dress with a
wrap around her waist and the battery pack holder matches her dress. Celine no longer
flys in the First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, but they still have people who fly. I noticed
that the girl who took Celine’s place was also wearing her dress or at least a replica.
Before Celine starts Je T’aime Encore she speaks with us and says “I believe we love
truly, deeply once in our life,” and then goes on to speak about what the song means
because this version is sung in French. She still does wear the black overalls and white
shirt and there were two young girls in the audience with the a replica outfit like Celine’s
and there’s said “Celine kicks” and it was on their behind. The last dress she wears for
My Heart Will Go On is a kimono looking dress. It’s pink with a light spring purple color
and bellbottom sleeves.
The man I was sitting next to was from France and he had told me earlier that he
was going to the after party. The party was for dancers and for some of Celine’s close
staff. So I decided to wait outside by the Colosseum stairs to see if I could find out where
it was. An hour passes and I see nothing, so I decided to go to Terraza, I think maybe
Celine might have reservations. I waited about 15 minutes and who do I see, Celine
comes walking by with Rene, Michelle, R.C. and his nanny and 2 bodyguards !!!!! Her hair
was different from the show, it looked like she had wet it because it was slicked back. I
said, “Hi Celine” and she gave me a big smile. They went into a door, I don’t know where
it leads to, but it all happened so fast and I managed to snap two pictures. I later got two
more pictures, but those were with the bodyguards. One of them asked me where the
perfume bottle was and if I had used it. The other one said, “Oh that was you?”
I went back to the Colosseum because I had to at least stay their till 11:00, the
roads are all blocked at this time of year till the New Years hour. Slowly people start
coming out and I walk up to a dancer and we start talking about Celine. He says that
Celine has had a cold for a little while and that she was sick tonight. I had no clue
because she was holding her notes so long and it sounded perfect. He said the night
before she was singing Fever and she forgot a line, but she started to improvise and
apologized for forgetting the words. “That just shows that she does not lip sing through
the concert,” he said. Another dancer came out and we started talking and I asked her
what was happening in there, she said it was a party for the dancers. Celine had earlier
thanked them for all that they have done. I asked her about the girl who flies during the
First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, and she was like, “Oh that’s me.” She also says that is
the same dress that Celine used to wear, what a lucky girl she is, oh my god I thought that
was the coolest thing ever. She said that Celine did not have to thank them, that she was
the most down to earth person and that she was the greatest person she has had the chance
to work with. We concluded our conversation and I headed down to the strip to welcome
the New Year with a fire work show. Oh yes later that night I found out from a very
reliable source that she would be staying the night with her family in one of the luxurious
suites.

On October 1, Celine’s French taping was held at Ceasars Palace. I was there from
4:00 p.m. PT to 2:00 am PT, but the taping didn’t start till about a quarter to 9:00 p.m.. I never
really thought about it, but I was at the Colosseum for 10 hours OMG. :) My mom and I
were both able to get in. One of my favorite bodyguards gave me a ticket and a women who
was a writer gave my mom a ticket. I will not be able to relay all of the songs to you because
they are the new ones from her CD, but she did sing some oldies.
This show was almost like a tribute to Celine because she was not singing a whole lot of songs. She sat on a sofa and
the men would sing to her and she would thank them at the end and give them hugs. There
was also a little mini TV on Celine’s table that had fans of Canada saying endearing things
about her and asking questions.
At these tapings there is always someone there, who tells you how and when to
clap, so he wasted a lot of time with that. The first song was "Tout L'or Des Hommes" and it was a music
video (not done live). It was different from the one we have all seen, it showed them on
stage, but in back of them pictures of Ceasars Palace and the Colosseum flashed around.
Then a little while after they came on stage and sang it with their music video on the led
screen, there were also extra footage that showed throughout. I love this song, it’s a nice rock
song. It makes everyone throw up their hands, like in a rock concert.
Celine had a couple of outfit changes but she was only changing between two
outfits (back and forth). The first one was the exact same ensemble from "Tout L'or Des Hommes" video, the
green boyscout shirt and the black jeans. Then she also wore a purplish pink off-the-shoulder
sheer dress probably made of nylon. When she wore that dress she didn’t wear shoes instead
she had rhinestone jewels that looked like sandals on her feet. Her feet were pretty dirty after
the show but it was very cute, she kept kicking them up. Her hair is short and spiky. It’s not
platinum blond, and her roots are dark and it looks good.
Then "Je t’aime encore". In "Je t’aime encore" the
letter was written in French and it was on the led screen. "Pour Que Tu M'aimes Encore"
was next on Celine’s list followed by "S'il Suffisait D'aimer".
Ricky Martin sang one song at the end. I’m not a fan of his so I can’t say which one, I’m clueless. Celine said he has rhythm
and was magnificent. Ricky thinks Celine is magical. He said, “As singers we feel so much
emotion on stage.” and Celine cut in, saying, “I don’t know what emotions you were
showing good or bad”, (referring to his dancing). Celine started to dance and tried to imitate
him. She also imitated Elvis as usual! :-D
One of the last songs Celine sang to was upbeat and it had an Irish sound to it ("Je Lui Dirais").
She even did some River Dance moves.
Celine referred to cheese. She was hungry like most of us in the audience and asked
the female singer if she wanted bacon or sausage. At 2:00 in the morning Celine was still
pumping with energy, while most of the staff seamed tired and drained out.
Like in the Oprah show, the mezzanines were not filled at all, and by the end of the
show there were maybe 500 people left of the 2000+ people who did come.
It was well
worth the wait to see Celine for so long in her natural state, just dancing and singing along
with the music. I also had a great Celine fan accompanying me, who reads my reviews,
which was really cool. Thanks Renee B., for being so down to earth and I had a great time
talking with you.

Yesterday, September 7, 2003 Celine had a private party for her 100th show. A friend
of mine from the Colosseum gave me my pass to get in, but he was not able to attend. The
party was held at the Garden of the Gods, next to the pool. There was food every where, it
went from one side of the stage to the other. The things that really stood out were the
chocolate covered strawberries, which were made to look like a mans tuxedo. The
cocktail bar was entirely made of ice and inside of the ice were red letters that said, “A
New Day.” Where the drinks were poured it had a dip were the liquid went into, and
spiraled into your cup icy cold. Celine had a cake that was about 2ft by 3ft, it said “A
New Day 100th Show.” I grabbed a couple of finger foods and tried to find a seat close to
the stage/dance floor.
I was sitting at a table alone and felt very awkward because I couldn’t find anyone
I knew. A few minutes later Patrick Angelil came walking by, I went up to him and told
him that I was by myself and if he could help me out and he told me that I could find a
seat in the VIP section. It worked out I found the lighting crew and they were nice to me. I
got to talk to them for a little while and then Celine walked in, I left them and said I
would be back in three minutes, but it was more like an hour.
This party was great
because everyone was calm nobody really rushed or pushed to see Celine. Celine stepped
onto the dance floor and opened with a speech. It was about being excited about her first
100 sold out shows for A New Day and the efforts that went into the show. She ended it
with, “Let’s get this party started !!”
I was the third person that joined her on the dance
floor and started to dance with her. She is so cute she really likes to dance and we all
surrounded her. Everyone was dancing with her and she was singing along with the
music, making goofy faces, and taking pictures with people who asked. I took some
pictures with Celine, danced with her, and gave her a kiss on the cheek. I got some
lipstick on her face, so when I saw it I rubbed it off, she doesn’t mind at all when I touch
her most people I think would have looked to see what I was doing, but she kept dancing.
Her dancers from the show are great to watch in their free dancing with Celine and she
can keep up with everyone. Celine danced to about 3 or 4 songs, she danced to oldies but
I do know one of the songs “You Shook Me All Night Long.” Celine even did the guitar
move she did on Divas Las Vegas.
Celine was challenged by a young tall girl. She was doing a move something like
what Elvis used to do. The girl was making her legs quiver and of course this girl
couldn’t handle it and she ended up with a side pain she told Celine. Through all of that
dancing and the outdoor heat, Celine never broke out in a sweat.
Cake Time! It was time for Celine to cut the cake and everyone gathered around. She cut a piece for someone I didn’t pay attention, but I’m sure it was for Rene and then she had the second piece. She said she had to try it to make sure it was good, she gave the OK and everyone got a piece. I followed Celine from beginning to end and she was cool about it and so were her bodyguards. She greeted everyone and gave little interviews here and there, people came up to her and congratulated her.
Celine looked great her hair style is very cute, now that it is growing out. She was
wearing a green dress, with rhinestones on both sides of her shoulders and a beige closed
toe shoe. The show started at 10:30 and ended at 2:00 Celine was there from 11:25-12:20.
I did find out that Celine will be taking RC to Lego Land when she takes her next break.
Before Celine was able to leave I got to talk some business with her and Rene, they have
my phone number. Rene said he would be sure he talks with the right people and he will
get back to me, so hopefully it all goes well. Wish me luck! I will keep you guys posted
and pictures will come out hopefully later on today because when I got back home all the
hour photo shops were closed.

P.S. I took a personal souvenir home from Celine. After Celine was done taking two bites
out of her cake she left it on a table. I came back a half an hour later and it was still
there!!! I mustered up the courage to grab it, I didn’t think it would be rude because
Celine was gone. I took it back to my table, but it was a good thing I had grabbed my own
piece of cake before I took Celine’s. A man came up to me and said, “A friend of mine
wants that cake back, I’m sorry to be a d^@k about it but she is with me and she wants it
back.” He was very rude and mean about it and made me take it back to her table. He
turned his head to gossip with one of the camera lighting guys I was talking to and that’s
when I swoped the cake. I have Celine’s dish, cake, and fork with Celine’s pink lipstick
on it. If some devine power didn’t want me to have, it wouldn’t have worked out the way
it did right?

Great News! Diva Duets was a hit. I entered the MGM casino at 3:30 PM, March
22, 2003. A man approached me with tickets and I bought the ticket for $20, but as we
started talking he was acting a little suspicious so I asked if the ticket was legit. When I
asked him to wait in line with me to see if I could get in, he hesitated and made some
excuses, but he later offered me a refund so I agreed.
I left that area and went straight to the red carpet, the stars were working in my
favor, no later then five minutes I was behind the ropes. I was with the mass media,
photographers, reporters, and even Entertainment Tonight was there! I was playing the
side kick reporter for
a photographer named Mirek, he was very nice. I was with the media at the red carpet
taking pictures of the celebrities, watching them roll in and out. Beyonce from Destiny’s
Child was one of the last celebrities, and the media started packing up. I was like, “No,
where’s Celine?” Merik said “I guess she’s not coming.” So I asked him if I could have
his press pass and he said “Sure.” You never seen me put something on so fast, and I
thanked him and we said our good-byes.
I walked away from the red carpet and a man (photographer) approached me
saying, “I saw everything you did.” He asked if I took any pictures and I said yes and we
started talking. We went to the back of the building where some celebrities can sneak in if
they don’t want to get interviewed. The man told me not to be shy and act like you own
the place, so I did. When I walked through it was like God was letting me have my
moment with Celine again. She was right there less then ten feet away and as I started
walking closer that distance started to diminish. She was in a beautiful pink DIVA dress
getting interviewed by Sharon Osbourne. I had missed the interview so I don’t know what
they talked about. Celine stood up and came towards where I was because Rene was
standing next to me. I started taking pictures of Celine, there was a wall where she was at
and she started posing against it. She was professional, elegant, and she was stunning.
She went to talk with a young girl who was the finalist on Starsearch. Celine said, She is
a powerful singer and she likes the way she sings. The girl was totally amazed, she had a
big smile on her face. Celine held her face, gave her a hug and a kiss. I said. “Celine
hello!!” Then I leaned in towards her and she came towards me as if I were going to tell
her a secret, but I said, “I’m Shalimar, do you remember me from perfume night?” “She
replied “Oh yes!” I told her “You also signed a picture for me when you were back stage.”
She was leaving to head down to the Colosseum, so I extended my arms and gave her a
hug and we gave each other a kiss on the cheek. That was great because I didn’t get to do
that the last time. She had to rush out, because as we all know she was performing at the
Colosseum, what a trooper. :)
I went back to the MGM arena and when I got there a man asked me if I needed a ticket, I
said “YES” and he gave it to me for FREE. I don’t even know where my seat was, I just
went straight down to floor seats and took the best seats I could find. I had missed
Celine’s performance, but I would not have given up my experience for the world,
because I had a one on one chat with Celine. For all you Celine Fans, we all know this
doesn’t happen very often. I talked to a girl who was sitting above me and she did say that
the song went, “Have You Ever Been In Love.”.
Well I will leave you for now so I can re-run this experience in my head.

Truly what a wonderful night this was. It took me a little longer to find tickets to Celine’s
last rehearsal because everyone wanted to attend this event. This event was free and the
not so Celine Dion fans were trying to sell tickets from $50.00-$300.00. Before entering
the Colosseum I met Franco Dragone and Rene Angelil and took pictures with them. I all
most bought my ticket but my dad got me a ticket and my whole family ended up getting
in. As I was standing in line someone noticed me from my pictures and articles on www.celinemaniacs.com.
This girl
came from Germany along with her three other friends, she was asking me how to get
tickets and then her friend came behind her with four tickets from Franco Dragone (how
wonderful). When I go into the Colosseum I noticed that they were sitting three rows
behind me and I asked if they would like to meet after the show, but they had to meet
someone. It was nice to finally meet big fans of Celine after attending five times, without
really ever getting that kind of emotion.
Celine started the rehearsal out the same way
but she did add the song “Love Can Move
Mountains.” Celine was very energetic in this song and the audience got out of their seats
and started clapping and dancing to the song. Celine hugged and kissed many people
throughout the song, she even brought to young girls on stage with her and twirled them
around.
At the very end they rolled credits like how they do at the end of a movie and it
said "A New Day..., Celine Dion, produced by Franco Dragone, Feeling Productions Rene
Angelil....."
I waited again at the end of the show and I got Rene’s autograph and even
asked him where Celine got her overalls. He said he didn’t know, but the shirt was from
Chanel. I have to get me one of these, I really like the style of the overalls.
No matter how many times I see this show, it never gets old, there is always something
you might have missed in the last show, and there is so much going on with the dancers.
You just get lost in the moment of watching and fantasizing, it’s truly magnificent.
The Celine Dion Boutique is open and it is filled with many souviners. I even bought a
couple of items a poster, post cards, pictures, candle with Celine’s Picture. There is still
so much more that I will buy next time I go, the prices aren’t to bad either. The store even
has fine jewelry and musical boxes. It is a true Celine's Maniacs Store you won’t know
what to do in there.

I also attended the thursday night show which was called the CBS and third dress rehersal.
This show started at 6:20 and ended at 8:45. A
nice man gave me tickets to get in. Celine’s number comes up again in my seating
arrangement orch 5 seat 505 yes :) . Nice right lol. 3 fives (three is my lucky number), if
you notice all my past three tickets contain a three on them wow. See you start to find
connections between numbers when you become a Celine's Maniac like I am. Later on I
will mention other things that relate to Celine and my number. These are from my past
experiences and my Celine Dion encounter at Tarazza, so it is not to bore you, I know we
all would like to get to the story of thurseday night right?
Well again this was like wednesday performance, I will not be relisting the songs, just
telling you the new things. The difference was that the Colosseum was filled up with a lot
more video cameras and photographers than it usually is. Celine towards the end of her
performance wore a cute snug fitting overall with a long sleeved white blouse. This outfit
was tight therefore allowing Celine to release her overall straps when it would come to a
part of the song she felt fit to let it off. It was so cute I was going to ask Celine’s
bodyguard or Rene where she got it from. Céline finally told us the title of the Italian song, it's
"Ammore Annascunnuto" (Hidden Love)!!! WONDERFUL!!
After the performance I waited in the colosseum because I had seen Rene earlier before
the show started and I wanted to see if I could talk to him. He walked back and forth on
the stage and when he was alone I waved to him, but he did not wave back. This might
have been because he did not see me or just thought I was waving to someone else, I
don’t know.
Well I waited a little while longer and went up to the stage to talk with a man
that works behind the scenes. I asked him if Mego was there? He said, “Who are you?”
and one of Celine’s backup singers said, “A friend.” At that moment Mego came out and
I asked him if he could resign a picture for me because the pen I had the last time wasn’t
working. He signed it for me and I hugged him and he kissed me twice on the cheek (like
the true French do). He also asked me how I liked the show...."OF COURSE!!"
I walked out and there was a CELINE DION STORE on my right, it is located right next
to the Colossem in front of the new Bradley Ogden restaurant. Before that night the
windows to this store were covered with large pictures of Celine’s “A New Day.” This
store is amazing, it is an exclusive store just for Celine no other merchandise is in there.
Shirts with Celine’s face, books, pictures, sweat pants out fits, shorts, “Celine Dion
Perfums,” and much more. I got my copy of Bonus CD that you can receive with
any Celine Dion Parfums purchase of $32 or more. Pictures of the Colosseum will come soon!!.

When I got to the Colosseum there were belly dancers waiting at the front entrance taking
pictures with people. The first person I asked for tickets gave me two and my Mom
able to join in this experience with me. We got box seating.
The show started at 8:35. Celine came out and described what was going to take place she
said “This is our second dress rehearsal, that you are participating in. We are still testing it
out and new performances will be added or removed.”
“Nature Boy” and “The Power Of Love” Celine wore a red glitter nylon type of outfit.
Not tight fitting loose and it easily flowed. Her next words were “I’m so thrilled to have
you and feel you, is so unbelievable. “It’s All Coming Back To Me Now,” “Because You
Loved Me,” “To Love You More,” “I’m Alive.” In these songs she could not help
but where her heels. They were about an inch high and thick, not like her usual designer
shoes these are dance shoes. “Seduces Me,” in this song Celine pulls up her shirt showing
that they were hot and she enjoyed that experience. Her words were “Thank you Dragone,
can I bring that chair back with me in three years, will talk about it later.”
“If I Could,” and Celine dedicated it to Rene Charles, at the end Celine says “I Love You
Rene Charles very much.” “At Last,” “Fever,” “I Got The World On A String.” In the
song “Fever” Celine steps on the backs of the men while the other dancer take her down
from the piano. I didn’t notice this last time, but the instruments in “I Got The World On
A Sting” light up of and on. Celine wears another nylon Cinderella type of dress, the
color was blue with a red ribbon around the waist and red thin high heels to match. “I
Surrender” and “A New Day Has Come.” “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face,” there was a
women floating in wedding dress with a 25 foot train, like Celine wore for her wedding.
Celine comes out with a red nylon dress and the giraffe is waiting for her, she says it’s her
friend “Hashel.” Six more giraffes appear and at the end three pairs make hearts with their
necks and one puts a kiss mark on the screen. The Italian song and “Have You Ever Been
In Love.” In “Love Can Move Mountains” dancers came around peoples seats and a male
dancer came next to me I touched his back and gave him a high five. “I Wish,” “I Drove
All Night,” “My Heart Will Go On,” and “What A wonderful World” were the last songs
Celine sang. Celine entered on stage and told everyone that these are performances that might not be
seen again. They were trying things out and from the audiences responses they would see
what they would keep. She also mentioned that no costumes were going to be used for
that night. Celine opened her act with “Nature Boy,” she was wearing a black suit with a
white shirt underneath. Next, came “I’m Alive,” the city life was going on in the TV fast
cars raced in opposite directions. (When mentioning TV this is a large screen that takes
up the whole back wall of the stage.) Celine was singing live, for those who wanted to
know all signs were shown (Example:When Celine brought the microphone away from
her face and it sounded distant like it should.) “I Surrender,” when this song started a
chandelier came down. Every note was sung perfectly in this song and flames surrounded
Celine on the TV. “Have You Ever Been In Love” came next on her list. Celine took a
moment after this song to say: "The next three songs I will sing are classics “At Last,”
“Fever,” and “I Got The World On A String.” In the song “Fever” Celine sings on the
piano that Mego plays (Celine’s pianist). Then she stands up and two men carry her off
the stairs. Mego snaps his fingers in beat with the music and Celine starts to work it,
shaking her little booty :) . The piano they used for this song is part of one of the two
large stair cases that are located on the stage. When they are finished with it, it is lowered
and is free to be walked on. The song “I Got The World On A String,” they bring out
about twenty instruments on cables with people pretending to play them. The instruments
are very large and colorful, some include the saxophone, piano, and guitar. Celine joins in
with her dancers in a Broadway style of dance, it was really awesome to see Celine dance
in such a way. The introduction to the song “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now,” plays as the dancers
dance and Celine does a quick clothes change. Thunder sounds and the dome of Caesars
Palace can be seen on the TV and then Celine appears in black pants and a white shirt.
Baby, baby, baby, when you touch me like this... is sung and her voice is so powerful and
strong. Next came my favorite song “Because You Loved Me,” a sunset appears and
brightens up the dome. The violins started playing, and it was for the song “To Love You
More,” clouds roll in on the screen and birds fly in the sky. This was the part I was
waiting for which is what Celine calls, flying. She was in the air about a hundred feet by
the end of the song “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face.” Celine was lifted all the way
up to the ceiling to where there is a place where she can reenter the stage somehow. When Celine came back out she found a giraffe waiting for her, this was on the TV. She
joked a little with it, saying It’s a little to late to be joining the show..., and the peanuts at
the gift shop are really good. It was all really cute and funny. The giraffes disappeared and
she sang “A New Day Has Come.” There were different colored smokes that filled in as
the background on the TV and female dancers dressed up in peacock feathers moved
around the stage. “Seduces Me,” was next and we all know what happens in this scene,
men, men, and more men. There is one in every show it was a song sung in Italian and I am not even able to guess at
the title this time. Celine did say it was a song from Neaples, Italy and It’s as passionate
as the people there. Italian houses were shown on the screen. After she was finished
singing she asked if it made us hungry and she said well I’m hungry. She also said I
believe you only find one love in your life. Then she introduced her song “Je T'aime Encore”
(I Love You Still). A letter writes on the screen by itself, with no pen about a little
boy learning how to play the guitar and he also wants to live in Rome. Celine is
constantly and considerately asking her dancers if they are doing all right and touches
some of them on their faces every once on a while.
“If I Could,” this is where the piano is pushed across the stage in midair by the two men.
“Love Is All We Need” (Celine’s new song from One Heart). It’s upbeat and
all the musicians join on stage playing their instruments and having fun. There are
motorized apparatuses that hold the keyboarders and dancers move them around stage
with controls they have on there arm rest. "I Wish"
by Stevie Wonder. In this song pretend fans run after Celine with
cameras and Celine runs off stage. Her next song, another from One Heart, “I Drove All
Night.” The media have been talking about a large moon that appears in the show, I am not sure if
It’s this one, but it was on TV for “My Heart Will Go On.” The moon is very large when
it first appears and it moves throughout the universe. Towards the end the moon is distant
and doves start flying toward it and a hundred falling stars fall across the screen. It was
very peaceful to hear this song because I have not heard it sung live since 1999, it was
really nice. Celine stops to talk again she says “It was a fun night, I thank you very much.
Sometimes the world seems like It’s gone bad, but I go to the crib of my baby as he
sleeps. There are millions of other little heads in the world and if we give them a chance
to grow, the world would be a wonderful place.” She leads into the song of “What A
Wonderful World.” They captured moments of older men and still shots of our audience,
then at the very end Celine was in a still shot of her present position.
Celine had another great performance, everything went well and her voice was strong, powerful and full of emotion. I loved this performance and
there is still more to come, It’s amazing to see that Franco dreamed all of this up, he is
truly magnificent. When I left the building I noticed that there were was a board that said you consent to
letting CBS air any of the footage that will be taken, this is exactly what it said for the
Harpo productions. It was about 2 hours into my journey when I saw Celine's bodyguard come out of the Colosseum. I asked him if I could
take a picture with him and he asked "why?" I said "you' re a bodyguard right?" He was surprised I wanted his picture, but humbly
took it with me. I hugged him in the picture and I was so happy just to see him I squeezed him around the waist, he was really
nice. Later on a boy came up to me and asked if I was waiting for Celine, he was also a fan. We started talking then the
bodyguard came back talking on his cell phone, so I waited for him to finish and asked if there was anyway I could see Celine.
I offered to stand if there wasn't enough seats but he said he couldn't get me in. I said "everything I see here I'm taking notes
and it will be posted on a website (www.celinemaniacs.com) and that I am constantly promoting Celine". He said "give me your number and I will call you
to get you tickets for this weeks show". I gave him my number and he asked me "you're the one with the perfume?" and I said "you
remember me?" That was really cool. The boy that I had been talking to was bummed out that he did not go up with me when
I talked to the bodyguard. The show started at 2:15 and Celine started out
singing LIVE "The Power Of Love." She wore a very sheer and see through outfit for this song. Her hair is short and it's not as bad
as people think she looks good in person. She did a clothes change and later came back with a white shirt and black slacks.
Celine moves more like a dancer now and doesn't where high heels or tight fitting clothes. She wears ballet shoes and dances
a lot more. She went on to sing "Seduces Me" and she sat in a chair while all these male dancers with no shirts gathered around
her trying to touch her, but couldn't because she's just untouchable like that.:) She told jokes after singing that song about how
those guys looked good and that women need a chair like that. She dedicated the next song to René Charles! From what I know this
song isn't on the new album but my guess of the title would be "If I Could." The dancers in this song came down on wires as
little children on swings and a tree came from below the stage and grew. Celine said it takes a lot of water to keep a tree like
that alive in a place like Las Vegas. She ended her performance with "I drove All Night". She danced really loosely in this song. I can't remember what song this happened in, but two male dancers on wires walked across the stage in mid air pushing a
piano as if they were on the floor, that was an interesting effect. The interview at the end was short because they said they had

wonderful. Celine was truly touched and almost came to tears from the warm welcome she got from everyone and was truly

SHALIMAR'S "A NEW DAY..." PREVIEW
Hello Celine's Maniacs,
It’s Shalimar from Las Vegas!! I'm sorry for my delay but here's my report of Monday's preview of
"A New Day...:

I arrived at the Colosseum at 7:25p.m. I did not have a
ticket again and I asked people for any extra tickets they might have. Fifteen minutes after
I arrived I spotted Celine’s bodyguard. I walked up to him and thanked him for calling me
that night and told him about the report I gave to the Celine's Maniacs website. He asked me
if I needed any tickets and I said yes if you could get me one. He looked at the man
standing next to him and said he has them for you. His name was Fenny and he asked
who I was. The bodyguard said I was a big fan of Celine’s. Fenny took me into the
colosseum along with two other women he knew. The waiting time was fun, the cameras
scanned through the audience and they took footage of couples, children, and they even
panned on me for a minute. I waved into the cameras and held up my Celine Dion picture
for all to see. I took notice to see where I was sitting and I was in the fifth row, Celine’s
lucky number. There are two sections of orchestra seating and I was in the farther one
from the stage this time, but I found the seats to have a wider view from when I was
closer to the stage. Don’t get me wrong from my experience both seats were great. As the
cameras continued to scan through the audience the TV screen began to crack, this was a
special effect.

::: CELINE'S MANIACS LAND IN OPRAH'S SHOW!!! :::
Dear readers, here is the wonderful story of our reporter in Vegas about yesterday's experience at the Oprah Winfrey's
Show. "I had to arrive early at the Colosseum
because I had no idea what time it would start, so I was there at 10:30am. I immediately started asking people what, where,
when, and, how could I get tickets to the show. Everyone I spoke to said no tickets, but this did not stop me. A guy who
worked at the ticket collecting area was a nice guy and was trying to help me out with the tickets and kept me updated on
the show times and rules. These tickets were not open to the general public! Just for Caesars Palace employees.
Waiting, waiting, and waiting around and my savior stands right in front of me I asked this lady if she
had any extra tickets and she said "yes" and handed me THE TICKET, I gave her a great big hug.
I was in after all of that, but
you know it's all worth it when it comes to Celine. I got fifth row seating, smack dab in the middle and later found out I was
in the same row and about 7 seats away from where Oprah would be sitting.
The show ended at 4:20
At the very end I met Celine's back up singers and piano player they all signed there autographs for me. They commented on
my name and Elise hugged and kissed me on the cheek and said she would see me again. Hopefully this will be true. I did not
get to see Celine personally this time, but I got Oprah's autograph!!
Note: Celine's body guard is a man of his word he called my house 10 minutes before 2:00 to tell me he got me tickets into
the Oprah show, my roommate told him I was already at the show!
