quattro piani del Forum e ascoltava dagli altoparlanti posizionati all'esterno.
Céline ha aggiunto, inoltre, di essere commossa di avere la sua stella di bronzo vicina a quella di Richard
davanti all'entrata del Forum....."Essere vicina a Maurice Richard mi fa sentire così bene. E' un grande
onore perchè Maurice Richard è l'angelo custode del Quebec!"

L'adorazione e gli applausi sono stati troppi per il figlio della cantante, Rene-Charles,
che ha cominciato a piangere dopo essere stato portato sul palco, come sorpresa, da Angelil.
Migliaia sono state le rose dei fans mentre Céline percorreva il tappeto rosso per alzare il velo
sulla sua stella di bronzo.
Il tributo di oggi è l'ultimissimo per la Dion! La coppia parte questa settimana per Parigi e il Belgio,

Montreal (Canadian Press)- Dion's name has been engraved in a bronze star outside the old Montreal Forum, now
known as the Pepsi Forum, on the "Promenade Of Celebrities" . The star is next to the one for hockey legend Maurice
(Rocket) Richard. 
More than 800 people, including the families of both Dion and Richard, packed the building for the afternoon
event, which was also attended by federal Heritage Minister Sheila Copps, Quebec Premier Bernard Landry and
Montreal Mayor Gerald Tremblay.
Dion and husband Rene Angelil waved to her admirers as they swooped down from an
upper level in a glass-walled elevator. They then mounted the stage to hear a string of tributes before the star was unveiled.
The singer's joy turned to tears as photos of her niece, who died several years ago of cystic fibrosis, appeared on screen
during a 37-minute tribute recounting her more than 20-year musical career.
"The star you gave me today is a very, very great honour," Dion told the fans who watched from four levels of the Forum
and listened on speakers outside.
Dion said she was moved to have her bronze star sit next to Richard's at the building's front door. "To be next to Maurice Richard makes me feel so good. It's a great honour because Maurice Richard is the guardian angel of Quebec."br>
"For me and millions of others around the world, Celine Dion has an incomparable talent," said Landry.
"She has the best set of lungs in the world," enthused Copps.
The adoration and cheers were a little too much for the singer's young son, Rene-Charles, who cried after being brought
onstage as a surprise from Angelil.
Hundreds of fans rose in cheer as Dion walked down the red carpet to raise the veil on her bronze star.
Thursday's tribute was the latest for Dion!
The couple leaves this week for Paris and Belgium, where she will be fine-tuning her Las Vegas show .Dion also plans to record a French-language album this fall for release next spring.
As a proud Quebecer, Dion said she's sad to be leaving home but plans to return to raise her son.....
"You know I'll never leave you, I think here in Quebec, we are a protected country. I feel it" she said.
Dion's mother said her daughter was full of emotion because she's never forgotten her roots ......
"It's a great honour but she's a little young to be receiving an honour like this," said Therese, who smiled when asked if Celine, 34, planned to live in Quebec full-time after her Las Vegas run.
"Only God, and perhaps, Rene Angelil know that" she laughed.

proprietà in Bousval affittata da Céline Dion, il problema, ieri pomeriggio, non era stato

I lavori finirono il 31 Agosto ,nonostante i periodi di ferie delle imprese edili,

The owner demands the 400.000 Euros from the renovation - No payment, No keys! Céline Dion's
relatives have to stay at a hotel. After three hours of negotiation between Franco Dragone and
Jean-Claude Schmit, the owner of the sumptuos property which has been rented for Céline Dion
in Bousval, yesterday afternoon the problem still hadn't been solved.
Even though the rent for the month of Septembre was payed, Mr. Schmit still refuses to hand
over the keys, while the bills, which have reached the sum of 400 000 Euros, haven't been
payed. Another meeting is planned for today, in order to clear this annoying misunderstanding
between Bousval and Las Vegas.
"My property wasn't even to rent at the beginning. I was contacted by Céline Dion's
entourage. A few of her friends know my property and had recommended it to her. But at the
beginning, they fancied my other property at Lasne. However, there were some security problems,
because the house is situated in a 40ha forest. They would have needed 18 bodyguards a day to
keep up the safety. So, she chose my other house in Bousval. The house with a surface of
1.200 square metres is built on an area which mesures 4ha and it's far more easy to make safe",
Jean-Claude Schmit explained.
The very nice fittings inside the house are said to have seduced the star: marble floors,
luxurious bathrooms, swimming pool. "I let the house with the furniture. I payed to have all
the walls repainted in Céline Dion's favourites colours myself. On 15th July, relatives of
Céline came from Canada to decide, what renovation work had to be done. When I realized the
extent of the work, I moved on 1st August", M. Schmit explained.
In spite of the holidays of the building companies, the work was finished on 31st August under
the direction of the company Fronton Architecture from Brussels. Although the first bills were
sent as from 21st July, none of them have been payed by today. However, the contract says that
these important investments, impossible to use elsewhere and absolutely unnecessary for
a "normal" person, have to be payed by the famous and temporary tenant.
The owner is still waiting to be payed for the renovation of his house..... No money? No keys!

from the National Order of Quebec on Wednesday, September 25. This honour will be awarded to him by the
Quebec Minister of Culture and Communications, Diane Lemieux, in his home country of Belgium where he is
currently overseeing the show's rehearsals. Franco Dragone has spent many years working in Quebec with the

Teheran (Iran) - A Teheran court summoned a reformist publisher over a picture of Canadian singer Celine Dion published in his newspaper "Hambastegi".
Western pop music is forbidden in Iran but is still easily available on the black market despite efforts to eliminate it.
Last week, Hambastegi printed a report and picture of Dion, one of the most popular female singers in Iran, which caused a fury among hard-liners in the Islamic country who sued the newspaper's publisher, Gholam-Haydar Ebrahimbai-Salami.
A charge of printing Dion's picture was one of 13 made mainly by conservative bodies, such as state-run television IRIB and the senate-like Guardian Council, against the daily.
Now its publisher has to reply to the charges in court.

Angelil sent a notice of claim to CKMF, a popular Montreal based radio station, demanding it stop playing a parody of Dion's song "I'm Alive", in which the singer is called, among other things, "annoying".
The radio station claims it was only trying to be funny, but Angelil didn't laugh at the joke

Céline begins rehearsing with director Franco Dragone and the entire cast of her show starting in October. She will be based in La Louviére
in Belgium, rehearsing a minimum of five days a week for a four to six week period.
