Oprah Winfrey will dedicate the whole show to Céline and Anne Geddes.The ticket was purchased by Amanda Gulbransen of Minneapolis, Minnesota (U.S.A.), who bought two tickets for herself and a friend
for a weekend getaway to Las Vegas. During Amanda's September visit, Céline will personally welcome her to "A New Day..." and award
her with a commemorative plaque.
In addition to a private meet and greet with Celine at the show, Amanda and her guest will receive a spectacular VIP stay at Caesars Palace.

A CD of lullabies and children's songs will be sold separately or together with a coffee table book by photographer Anne Geddes, known
for her photos of babies. The pictures of the singer posing with babies less than 3 weeks old were shot in Las Vegas, Angelil said last week. The CD
includes the song "If I Could," which she has been performing in her Caesars show "A New Day..."
The promotional drive includes an Oct. 14 return to "Oprah," which launched "A New Day" with an exclusive interview last year.
"Of course she will do Larry King and all the morning shows," as well as an international press conference by satellite, husband-manager Rene
Angelil told reporters last week.
Angelil had to pinch hit in a planned news conference last week after his wife contracted a sinus infection. He announced a one-year extension of the
original three-year pact with Caesars. When local reporter Bobbie Katz asked how he liked living at Lake Las Vegas, Angelil delivered an endorsement
that could well end up in the Henderson community's next ad campaign: "It's like paradise," he said. "Lake Las Vegas is the complete
opposite of the Strip. When you arrive on the Strip it's like the jungle."
"That weighed a lot in the decision to stay an extra year," he added. "Now that we know how peaceful it is, how great it is, we really love it here."
Audiences who arrived to find the show canceled Sept. 16 were invited to watch a DVD of "A New Day" -- not yet available on home video -- on
the stage's big LCD screen. "She has blond hair, which I don't particularly like," Angelil said of the DVD filmed 10 months ago. "She's beautiful the
way she is right now."

200 shows per year. Caesars Palace does not share ticket revenue from the show produced by the Concerts West division of Anschutz Entertainment
Group. Angelil said they were offered "a very long period" of extension, but opted for one year.
"Today (yesterday), she has difficulties in breathing, her nose is blocked", confessed René Angélil. Yesterday, the singer was visited by
two doctors, who diagnosted an infection to the sinus. "We had to cancel her shows till Sunday, so the next show will be performed
on next wednesday", said Mr Angélil. "Of course, all the fans who were supposed to see the show will be reimbursed and they'll be able
to come and see the show when they want!"
As a consolation, the Colosseum audience watched the show recorded for the DVD -on the big screen of the Colosseum-, which will be
released in a few weeks.
According to René, Céline's infection is due to the smoke used on the stage of World Music Awards, during the performance she
did last wednesday. "It's not her usual environment. The smoke which has been used on stage is not the same that we use in the show usually"
explains the singer's husband and manager. "In 'A New Day', it's a water-based smoke whereas the WMA one was a chemical one.
Céline is allergic to all this kind of products".

Turns out that the contract extension is now going to be for another three years, at the least, and earn the French-Canadian chanteuse
as much as $150 million !!.
Celine's s original contract, a three-year agreement, was for a reported $100 million plus a percentage of the show's profits. Her show,
"A New Day ..." debuted at The Colosseum on March 25, 2003. After she signs the extension, she will be under contract to Caesars through
MARCH 2009.
"She loves that she is stationary and can raise her son in one place. Caesars is happy that sells out every show and is a good citizen. And everyone is benefiting financially," said a source, who is directly involved in the negotiations. More details will be surely revealed during this Thursday's Q&A session that will take place at the Colosseum after performing her show.

Nearly 175 million albums!!!
One month ago, the World Music Awards organization gave the news to the singer and her husband. "It is extraordinary,
Céline is so happy and proud!". Before receiving her price, the organizers of the ceremony made a point to know the exact number of disks that the singer sold.
"They made several checks: Billboard, Soundscan and all the Majors data", Rene Angélil explained.
According to figures' of sales certified by Sony, Céline sold, from 1987 to August 31, 2004, a great total of
174,436,400 albums
aroud the world. The sales of her first twelve albums, in French, recorded before the signing of her contract with Sony, in 1987, do not even
appear on the impressive bill. "According to Sony, it is a record of sale which will never be beaten", Rene Angélil affirmed proudly.
"I am convinced that all the Quebecers will be proud of her when they will see Céline getting that award", the manager says.
During the ceremony of the WMA, Céline will also perform a song, Love Can Move Moutains, surrounded by her dancers. The ceremony will be aired on the American TV Network ABC at 9 p.m. ET.

(2:20 p.m. GMT) According to an exclusive source of our website, Céline will the DIAMOND AWARD
at this year's World Music Awards ceremony that will take place on September 15 in Las Vegas
(for the first time!). The Diamond Award was created to honour those artists who have
sold over 100 million albums during their career, even if Céline should be close to 200 million albums sold.
The reporter asks what are her feelings about her sedentary life. Céline answers that she doesn't feel
"home" in Las Végas, she does in
Québec. "Las Vegas is not a good place for a singer" she said, because of the weather. Céline misses Quebec's nature and climate.
Now that she's a mother, Céline doesn't like travelling as she did before. Rene-Charles is her first
thought. She wants him
to feel good and wants to grow him by herself. She's aware of the fact that the show-business is imposed to him and wants to offer him
happiness.
Then the reporter asks Céline if she had ever had the feeling of spoiling her adolescence. She doesn't have that feeling even if she
knows that her adolescence had not been like the others. But it's a choice, nobody compelled her to do it. She wanted to work hard,
early. Despite the great things which happened to her, she's proud of herself because she is always the same person, who prefered shoes
to drugs or alcohol! LOOL
Céline said that she'll probably work in the cinema. She also talks about her desire of another pregnancy. "What's the thing for whom
you're prouder?" "The simple girl who I was and am". But, she has a little regret: she didn't study a lot. She hopes René Charles will study
more than she did, but above all that he'll be a good person.
"3 words to describe you": the worst for Céline is speaking about herself. She answers Strong, Lucky and Perseverant.
The reporter asks Céline if she likes competition... She likes it, but she's in competition only with herself. She thinks that's
important in this job! When she was a little girl, she was already dazzled by Tv shows like Grammy Awards, American Music Awards.
They made her dream. But she had to reach that dream "step by step".
Céline doesn't listen to any music when she is home. She listens to natural noises, as birds singing...
etc... She had to stop
talking as she was used to do before because she had a vocal problem. But now, she's less silent than she has been used to be.
About her father's death: she feels tense. Maybe because she didn't live her father's dead as well as she thought, or maybe
because it's too hard and she can't express it.
Céline deeply desire keeping on singing in French, even though she sold more albums in English. It's important to her. It's her
roots. About Money: Céline knows she's lucky earning so much money. She saves up money for the future studies of RC. She buys
many things to her son, especially toys. She asks her body-guards to tell her fans to wait when she's playing with him, in order to protect
him. At the beggining RC refused everything which were connected to show-bussiness (big parties, applauses, pics...etc..).
At the end, the reporter asks Céline what she would change if she could start over again. Céline answers "Everybody would like me to say 'nothing'. But we're in privacy... I'd tell you I'm not sure I would start it again... Maybe we could talk about that in 10 years...."
