Still, she scores points for some mighty heartfelt performances, among them a sprightly cover of John Lennon's "Beautiful Boy," the handsome "If I Could" and the inauspiciously endearing title cut. The campaign, created by Air Canada's advertising agency of record, Montreal-based Marketel, begins October 21, 2004.

A Summary From The Rythme FM Interview

(8:30 p.m. GMT) The radio-broadcast starts with "Beautiful Boy". The interwiew had been recorded in New-York. Céline describes "MIRACLE" as an album of love songs. She talks about the incredible rythm of her life. This is to say that as soon as she has a week of break, she records a French album, promotes it, then when she gets another week of break, she records an album in English and promotes it, etc..

Anyway, she realizes she's lucky and doesn't complain about her schedule because she knows that a lot of people would like to have the same chance, and that the job is harsh. They play "S'Il Suffisait D'Aimer". The journalist asks Céline if René-Charles helped her to choose the songs of "MIRACLE". Indeed, he has not listen to the album yet. Céline tells that he prefers "I'm Alive" or "I Drove All Night", songs with a quicker beat. "He's 4, and he doesn't want to sleep, he doesn't want lullabies!"

They play "Because You Loved Me". Then, Céline and the journalist talks about Las Vegas, and what will come after. Time goes fast in Vegas Céline doesn't get bored there. She's very happy that they ask her to stay one year more at the Colosseum. They play "Je T'aime Encore". Céline is proud because the pictures of the book and the DVD are beautiful.

They play "Pour Que Tu M'Aimes Encore". The journalist asks Céline if she thinks any woman can become a mother. Céline doesn't think so. Some have got the maternal instinct, others don't. "There's a lot of women who deserve to be a mother and they aren't, and a lot of women who are mother and don't deserve it."

They play "L'amour Existe Encore". Céline talks about her complicity with her mother Thérèse. They're closer and closer to each other since last summer. Céline talked about her father's death, his illness and the way her mother lived it too. At the end they play "Tout L'Or Des Hommes".

A clip of the photo shoot with Anne Geddes behind the camera shows Céline in one of the poses and Anne instructs her. "Just stay like that Céline... just stay like that, hang on." Then they show Céline and Anne sitting in chairs together for an interview (the same that is found on the bonus DVDs.) [Céline laughs.] Anne: "...and I said now listen it's not going to be like your normal work, it's gonna be, you're gonna get wet. She's there with this baby and all sorts of these are coming out either end, and Céline's going 'No, no, keep going, keep going, it's fine, it's fine...'" Céline: "It's fine, I'm ok! They kept me warm, they blessed me!" Anne: "You got lots of blessings!" Céline: "I got lots of blessing yesterday from one end to another."

They show a clip from the photo shoot when Céline is very calmly as if nothing has happened, giving a baby back and Anne says, "Oh, did she?" An assistant says, "Yeah, everywhere all over her!" The host narrates and more clips of the photo shoot are shown, "Céline's music and Anne's photos are the artists' labor of love called the "Miracle" project, a lullaby CD, DVD, and coffee table book all available today." As the pictures according to the description flash on and off the screen. "Here Céline's skirt serves as a Magnolia, dressed in orange the singer and child become a Calla Lilly. With all the babies' real parents looking on, the set for the photo shoot turned into a regular nursery. It took precision for Céline and this sleeping tike to get their pose just right. Now assistants just have to remove the pacifier!" Céline: "Just to hold the baby like this for the position, and I hear you say to me, 'Relax your forehead', and I'm like, [Céline scrunches up her forehead.] 'Put a smile on your face.', 'Relax your shoulders', 'Put the baby higher!' [Céline puts her hand out in front of her chest together.] Hold the baby!' Anne: "...and you did it all!" Céline: "...and I'm telling you after three minutes then you give the... you do the shot, you give the baby back, and your muscles! [Céline hold her hands out and shakes them.] Your hands are shaking, and I'm like.[Makes face.] I thought I was in shape!" Another clip of the photo shoot, Anne says to Céline from behind the camera, "Oh, that's nice! That's great, we've got it!" They return to the host who ends the feature by saying, "Pretty precious! Céline does look comfortable holding all of them! It's hard to believe that her own miracle baby, René-Charles, is now three!"

Reminder: THE OPRAH SHOW!!

"My mother called him 'little prince,'" Céline said. "Actually, we have an extravagant life, but we're trying to live as normal as possible." But Céline says she isn't the only one who dotes on René-Charles! "First of all, my mother's supposed to help me. She raised 14 children. She's supposed to constantly ask me, 'When he is going to stop using a bottle? When are you going to send him to school?' She's doing the opposite. She says, 'He's a baby. When you cut the bottle, your baby's gone.'" LOL

Now that their own miracle baby René-Charles is over three years old, are Céline and René thinking about adding to their family? "We want to. Believe it or not, we needed help to have this one. We tried for six years before. I'm not going to tell the whole story again," says Céline. "But we have a little embryo in New York which was produced at the same time as René-Charles. To be honest with you, there's no way for me as a mom, knowing that this embryo is part of René and me and is waiting for us in this iceberg…I need to bring this baby to the sun. … I have to give it a try. I have to go there after Vegas. I have to take a long break. I have to go back. Put this baby in my belly and give this baby a chance." Stay tuned…Céline has just signed on for another year of her show in Las Vegas…which was sold out the first 280 nights of its performance!

Céline and award-winning photographer Anne Geddes first met when a 9-year-old friend of Anne's, and huge Céline Dion fan, was dying of cancer. Anne heard Céline liked her work, so she asked Céline to write this special little girl a note. When Céline showed up at the hospital, this union began. Anne later took photos of René-Charles when he was just three weeks old. Céline and Anne then partnered to create this beautiful book featuring 80 photos of babies, some with Céline, and CD Miracle. It was labor of love for both.

Oprah: How do you get the babies to pose in the flowers?

Anne: Photographing flowers has always been one of my real loves, apart from the babies. So we photograph the flowers first and then we decide where we're going to put the babies and then cut the soft foam shapes and lay the babies in them. It's a little bit more complicated than that and in the computer we put them both together. … When [the babies are] asleep, they're very supple. They like to be folded. It's like being back in the womb…you see it.

Céline: I'm telling you, doing this was like taking those babies so close to my skin, my neck, I could breathe them. Oh…I wanted to take all of them home!

Céline said the project allowed her to find songs to express how she's felt since becoming a mother nearly four years ago. "It's very difficult to find the words when I'm trying to explain to people how I feel since I've had a baby," she said. "It is unexplainable for me. . . . Lite reunion with Celine concert

"At that time, they probably just didn't know who she was," says Ryan. "But Celine sang flawlessly, beautifully, and I felt bad for her that more people weren't there to see it. So before she finished, I went over to the gift shop and bought a bouquet of roses. When she finished, I gave it to her and told her I was sure she was going to make it."

Well, they both made it. Céline Dion is one of the most popular singing stars of the last decade, thanks to songs like her hard-to-forget rendition of the soaring "Titanic" theme song, "My Heart Will Go On." Ryan came back to New York and now programs WLTW (106.7 FM, Lite-FM), the most successful and profitable radio station in the country. He's also a national vice president of adult contemporary programming for WLTW's parent Clear Channel.

On this coming Friday, Ryan and Céline will meet again, when she headlines Lite's annual "One Night With Lite" concert at the Theater at Madison Square Garden. It's Céline's only North American concert this year outside Las Vegas, where she's in the middle of a three-year run. That is to say, this is a nice coup for Lite. "I won't tell you it was the flowers that got her here," says Ryan. "I think it had more to do with our being the No. 1 radio station in the No. 1 radio market. But I figure the flowers didn't hurt." Adult contemporary stations don't usually do splashy concerts the way hip-hop or top-40 stations do, but Lite got into a groove five years ago, and it's proven both a success and a challenge.

"We've had artists like Elton John and Rod Stewart headline our shows," says Ryan. "So each year it becomes a matter of 'You gotta top it.'" So he set his sights on Celine, negotiated for months with her agents, and in the end got her, he says, "through a piece of sheer luck. The one night she could do the show, The Theater happened to be available." A concert like this doesn't enhance Lite's healthy bottom line. Ryan figures the cost at around $750,000, which even a Céline Dion-size ticket price won't cover. "The concert is more a way to thank our listeners and reinforce the station's image," he says. "We want people, when they think about Elton John or Celine Dion, to think Lite-FM." Josh Groban, Martina McBride and Five for Fighting are also on Friday night's bill, and it's unlikely that any consolation roses will be necessary at evening's end. "But I still think it's a good lesson to be nice to people," says Ryan. "You never know who you'll meet again."

In the article Céline says that 'MIRACLE' isn't an album for children, but it includes covers of great love songs. She adored making photos with Anne Geddes and the newborns. Reporters find Céline simple and natural. She also misses her father, but she's happy because he saw her marriage, her house, her son, her NEW show. She sees her mother very often.

On these days Céline is a bit tired because she has to perform in her show and she has to promote "Miracle".

Very soon, Céline and her family will go on vacation to Hawaii. But after her contract, in 2007, Céline has planned to take a break of 1 month and half. She'll fly in France, in Italy, on the Coast. She said she doesn't know exactly where yet. She misses Europe and she also wants to visit Greece and Saint-Tropez.

These holidays will let Céline to have no stress anymore, and be ready to have another baby if it's possible. She said "After these holidays ? I'll go to New-York for my baby, at my doctor's. I don't know if it'll work, that's why I'll need real vacations. We'll also have a house in Florida. I want to live in the South."

Another Charity Event In NYC!

In aggiunta all'evento 'One Night With Lite' che avrà luogo al Paramount Theater al Madison Square Garden di New York il 15 Ottobre, Céline parteciperà anche ad un altro evento di beneficenza. René Angélil was contacted by the movie-producer Richard Goudreau five months ago and he was very impressed on seeing the movie. The title of the song recorded by Céline is 'Ma Nouvelle-France' (Lyrics by Luc Plamondon, music by Patrick Doyle). The movie will come out in the French-Canadian theatres on November 15th.

"We contacted Céline team to see if the singer can join us during the unveiling of her monument. So far nothing is sure. We'll see on these coming days, as we want to inaugurate the monument before the falling of the first snow" said Bernard Boudreau. It's situated at the entry of Charlemagne (Quebec) so that everybody can see the name of the most famous resident of Charlemagne. The monument costed CAN$33,000 and was made by Normand Forget.

(5:50 p.m. GMT) Eighteen months ago Celine Dion debuted in the $95-million, 4,100-seat Colosseum showroom, garnering mixed reviews and raising questions about whether Caesars Palace had invested wisely in the international superstar from Canada. Turns out the gamble was not such a foolish bet after all. Céline's quasi-concert, quasi-production show, "A New Day ...," created and directed by the incredibly gifted Franco Dragone, continues to play before capacity audiences who pay between $85 and $225 for a seat.

According to a financial report released by Caesars, the flow of traffic through the casino generated by Celine Dion -- and her fill-in, Elton John -- has played a major role in increasing the venue's income by as much as $100,000 per day. It's little wonder that her three-year contract, reportedly worth $100 million, has been extended an extra year. She is now scheduled to perform at the Colosseum until 2007.

There have been a few changes since her premiere in March 2003 -- none of them especially dramatic. The production is still filled with the surrealistic whimsy for which Dragone (creator of "O" and "Mystere" for Cirque du Soleil) is noted. "A New Day ..." remains visually busy. So much is going on it's impossible to take it all in during one visit. The props are wonderfully creative, with giant musical instruments floating through the air, trees growing out of the stage and a man's head evolving into a rose. The videos on a giant LED screen are awesome, with planets floating through space; the creation of an Italian village; doves flying into clouds; an image of Broadway and the creation of a Gothic scene. Two recurring characters continue to be threads throughout the production, one a bellhop, the other a bald man dressed in white. The show makes better use of the 22,450-square-foot stage and the LED screen behind it. When the show premiered, Céline was dwarfed by the enormity of the space. Now, during certain numbers, the size is reduced by some visual effects -- her image is projected more on the screen, and during one number the stage is dark but for a narrow beam from a spotlight that focuses on her.

Céline's costumes have improved greatly, thanks to new designs by Christian Dior and Emanuel Ungaro. Her attire is more becoming, as is her hair. When the show debuted Céline was shorn of her long, brown locks and sported an unflattering blonde 'do that made her look less than feminine -- but thanks . In the original version of the production, Céline did some flying. That has been scrapped, although during one number a couple of angels swing through the air while the chanteuse keeps her feet firmly planted on the ground. There is a constant flow of dancers enhancing Dion's 22 songs.

Céline still does some tribute numbers in the middle of the show, including songs by Etta James ("At Last"), Peggy Lee ("Fever") and Frank Sinatra ("I've Got the World on a String"). Her final number of the evening is Louis Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World." The show wouldn't be the same without "My Heart Will Go On," the Academy Award-winning theme song from the 1997 film "Titanic."

Two weeks ago Céline was forced to cancel several shows after performing at the World Music Awards at the Thomas & Mack Center. Her spokeswoman said smoke that was part of that production caused throat problems. A week after the cancellation there didn't seem to be any residual effects from the ailment. Her voice had the same clear, powerful delivery for which she is admired.

As long as she continues to be one of the top attractions in Las Vegas, "A New Day ..." can be assured of "A New Contract ..." from Caesars. Rating (out of five stars): *****

(5:20 p.m. GMT) Due to the large number of emails that we daily receive regarding this subject, we decided to post some good advices on how to plan a cheap trip to Las Vegas. Let's assume that you want to go to Las Vegas to attend Céline's 300th show that will take place on January 6th, 2005 (that's if she doesn't cancel any more shows!) and spend 5 days in the Sin City. In this first post we're going to talk about how to choose and book a cheap hotel room (we'll book an hotel room from Sunday to Thursday because Vegas hotels DOUBLE their room rates on Fridays and Saturdays).

First of all you absolutely need a credit card ! To book our hotel room we'll use a very reliable website: expedia.com for Céline fans around the world (expedia.uk for UK fans, expedia.ca for Canadian fans, expedia.de for German fans, expedia.nl for Dutch fans). FIRST STEP: go to expedia, click on "Hotel Only", fill in the "Destination" field by putting "Las Vegas", then fill in the "Check in" field by putting "1/2/2005" and the "Check out" one "7/2/2005" (month/day/year) and then click on "More hotel search options: Hotel name, hotel class...". In the "Do you have any preferences? field put this hotel name "Lady Luck" and click on Search.

It will appear the prices of your hotel rate per night... US$38 + Taxes & service fees: $4.39 (€31, CAN$49). Garden rooms are the rooms near the swimming pool. Then click on "Book it. If you really want to book this hotel room you'll have to create an Account. This hotel is across the street from the Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas. The Strip is 3 miles away and in 5 minutes you can reach the Colosseum by using a bus. The booking is absolutely reliable... don't worry!
