It was a very long interview with Céline! She was very nice and delightful with the host
Laurent Boyer. They were sat on a couch in the middle of the desert and Céline joked a lot :
"Folks, here's in my garden !". Besides the interview, they showed few videos from her show in Las Vegas, from
Au coeur du stade, and from the recording session of her new album. You could even listen to a bit
of a never released song for "1 fille et 4 types". At the end, the "4 types" sang an
unplugged version of My heart will go on: "Hey Céline that's a sunk version of the song!".Country or City

version of the album.
But before she introduced him, no one in the usual sold-out audience of 4,100 knew why the show wasn't starting,
and they were not happy about the late star.
First, after about 30 minutes of unexplained delay, large swaths of the crowd started chanting
"Elton John! Elton John!" a reference to the next headliner coming to The Colosseum.
After 45 minutes, there was an announcement that the wait was because of "technical difficulties."
But there were no apparent technical difficulties at the just-opened $95 million facility -- at least none that would
hold a production up for 45 minutes.
After an hour delay, Céline came out to perform. At her usual break point early in the show when she first
addresses her audience, she told the crowd -- minus what one witness said were 200 or so folks who got frustrated
waiting and left -- there was a special guest among them.
Then theater cameras zoomed in on Jackson, and the crowd exploded in cheers when his mug filled
the giant LED screen behind the stage.
After the show Jackson visited Céline briefly in her dressing room.

This afternoon the Spanish TV Network Canal+ aired a special dedicated to Café Quijano.
They talked of their collaboration with Céline. They talked very well about Céline describing her
as "A great and very humble woman". They had the opportunity to meet Céline
and talk to her. They also declared to be "super-fans" of Céline now, but they were already big fans of hers
before meeting her in person. The hosts also praised Céline's voice, they comparing her to Barbra Streisand
adding that Céline sings much better than Barbra! The group agreed and said it was an amazing collaboration. Click

Forced to cancel a show for the first time in 14 years because of flu and cheered up by one of the
world's youngest Elvis impersonators.
Céline was bedridden on doctor's orders Thursday suffering from gastroenteritis and dehydration, but
she returned to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Friday.
Boosting her spirits before Friday's show was son Rene Charles, four months shy of his third birthday, who dressed up as Elvis and went trick-or-treating with a microphone in hand near their Lake Las Vegas home.
Later, "Elvis" joined Céline for a mini-Halloween party in her dressing room, where he watched her mother
perform on a monitor and greeted her during costume changes. "He just started talking, putting sentences together,
a month ago," said Rene Charles' father, Rene Angelil.
Céline started feeling under the weather on Wednesday and wore a mask on the 25-minute drive to work when
Las Vegas was enveloped in smoke from the California wildfires. Ever the trooper, she went ahead and did the show,
but afterward "she had breathing problems, a high fever and was very weak," René said.
Céline made a quick recovery from only her second cancellation in 20 years. The last time she had to cancel
was in 1989, René said, when a voice crisis nearly led to surgery.

Here's an interview with the Spanish group Café Quijano taken from today's issue of
the Spanish newspaper "El Norte De Castilla". As we reported some days ago, Céline recorded
a spanish song with them "Nadie Lo Entiende". This song will be part of their upcoming new album
that will come out on November 4. The article says that the performance of Céline is without precedent.
It's a blues song and the group knew about their collaboration with Céline only when they
arrived in Las Vegas, it was a surprise by Humberto Gatica !
She read the lyrics and was very surprised. Then she sang it once. The song has
six changes of tone. They also attended Céline's show "A New Day..."...They
said: "She's GREAT!!"
