Céline will be on the show "Hits of 2002" which will be broadcast on 3rd January 2003 at 11.45 pm (CET) on the German Network "3 Sat".
"Goodbye's (The Saddest Word)" Video will be broadcast in Italy on Dec. 5th
during the program "MUSIC MEETING" at 6:40 p.m. (Europe Time) on "Rete A All Music" network.

Frankfort (Germany) Book Fair. His objective: to sell One millions of copies all over the

Shania Twain's album, released last week, debuts at the first position on the Canadian chart
selling 150,000 copies and leaves untouched Céline's Canadian record for this year's biggest first week sales
after debuting: 151,600 copies!!

currently at #37. To make things worst: 1) Woolworth (the stores which sell 40% of all the singles sold in the U.K.),
is not stocking the single; 2) The song has not been pushed to radio; 3) The video is nowhere to be seen.
Things are not going better in Italy!

The soap-opera on the unauthorized biography of René is still going on.
Montreal (PC)-- After a reconciliation, reporter Jean Beaunoyer, ex-Baronet Jean Beaulne and
publisher of Trait d'union, Pierre Turgeon, will join on Wednesday in Montréal to launch the unauthorized biography of René
Angélil.
Last week, Mr. Beaulne hoped to strike off some passages from "And Angélil created Céline", particularly those ones
about relations among Angelil and medias, and other ones about his failure. In spite of this quarrel, Mr. Beaulne and Trait d'union
publisher decided to turn over a new leaf. To be continued....

è in Florida per partecipare alla Giornata Mondiale dei Bambini.
Céline dona alla coppia i biglietti per la serata inaugurale di "A New Day..." e li invita

Come annunciato, Céline ieri era in Florida nel ristorante Mc Donald di Jupiter in occasione

Ma ieri Céline non è andata lì per mangiare. Stava raccogliendo denaro per la Ronald McDonald
House Charities.

Zahn: Felice di rivederti. Benvenuta Céline.
Céline: Ciao a tutti. Felicissima di vederti. Come stai? Buongiorno.
Zahn: Un sacco di persone non capiranno come la tua famiglia sia stata direttamente
inflenzata dalla Ronald McDonald House. Tu hai una storia riguardo un membro della tua famiglia
che ha ricevuto grandi cure dalla R. McDonald House. Che cosa è successo?
Céline: Da quando ho cominciato a cantare da professionista, ho voluto essere coinvolta
nell'aiutare i bambini, raccogliere fondi negli anni... sai, una volta che sei benedetto nella
vita, devi afferrarla e dare il meglio di essa. Così noi proviamo a centralizzare la gente
il più che possiamo e a fare la differenza nel mondo. Una delle mie nipoti è morta di fibrosi
cistica e uno dei miei parenti è stato nella R. McDonald House di Montreal per un lungo periodo,
e loro aiutarono enormemente sia lui che la famiglia in questo momento difficile. Se posso dirlo,
Mc Donald non è solo hamburger, fritti e bevande ma significa anche persone autentiche che hanno famiglia,
lavorano tanto e fanno la differenza nel mondo. Se posso aggiungere, oggi, è il più grande
sforzo di una giornata che mai ci sarà, e loro faranno questo ogni anno in 121 paesi diversi
nel mondo. Speriamo di raccogliere 40 milioni di dollari.
E questa è un'altra cosa meravigliosa. Non so quanto tempo devo parlare, ma lasciami dire
che è molto difficile chiedere denaro alla gente. Perchè prima di tutto la vita è molto costosa,
ed è difficile per noi dirlo attraverso la nostra musica e le nostre canzoni. E' difficile perchè
le persone lavorano molto, attraversano molti momenti difficili e non hanno denaro. Ma noi non
stiamo chiedendo alle persone di donare denaro e metterli in una scatola. Stiamo chiedendo loro
di andare a mangiare oggi nei ristoranti McDonald... quattro cose differenti... passare del
tempo con la propria famiglia e un dollaro per articolo andrà in beneficenza per aiutare i bambini
nel mondo.
Un'altra cosa, se non vi piace il fast food o non volete andarci, Ok, potete ancora aiutarci.
Abbiamo fatto uno spettacolo in Tv la scorsa settimana. Se l'avete perso-- tra parentesi è stato
un grande spettacolo. Se l'avete perso... potete andare sul sito web... comprarne il DVD e tutto
il denaro, non solo una parte di esso, andrà in beneficenza.
Sapete, è magnifico, quando sei una madre, questo è quello che conta di più. Tu vuoi fare la differenza,
ed esso comincia oggi... comicia qui! Lo stiamo chiedendo alle persone ma io pure lo sto chiedendo a me
stessa di fare la differenza ed essa è proprio qui da McDonald. Vi prego, aiutateci.
Zahn: Descrivi al nostro pubblico che tipo di aiuto le famiglie ricevono dalla R. McDonald
House, in particolare le famiglie che sanno che i loro bambini stanno vivendo un momento difficile.
Quanto è confortante avere un posto come questo in cui andare?
Céline: Sapete, quando andate in una R. McDonald's Charithy house, perchè prima di
tutto, quando avete un bimbo malato, è ovvio,-- non siete nemmeno capaci di trattenere le lacrime,
ed è qualcosa molto, molto traumatica, e andate in ospedale, ci sono un sacco di persone, vi
sentite soli al mondo. Vorresti che il mondo si fermasse e dire, ascoltate, mio figlio/a è
malato/a, c'è troppo rumore qui, potete aiutarmi? Potete aiutare mio figlio, il mio bambino, mia figlia?
E tu non puoi-- è molto difficile vedere la luce e alcune volte attraversi momenti molto molto
drammatici.
Al R. McDonald Charity House, sei in intimità e senti che le persone sono lì per aiutarti. Non solo
-- sembra che sono tuoi fratelli e sorelle, e sai di avere l'aiuto dei migliori dottori quando
vai in ospedale ma a volte non puoi andare a casa. Sei molto lontano dall'ospedale e non è
nella possibilità di tutti essere giusto lì.
Così alcune persone sono portate lì per ricevere aiuto e nello stesso tempo sostegno. I loro
bambini sono in ospedale, ricevono molte cure; è magnifico, e i genitori sono supportati.
Un aiuto dalla A alla Z, il che è fantastico, io ci sono andata un paio di volte: una a Montreal
e l'altra a Chicago, è straordinario il lavoro che fanno.
Zahn: Io pure ho avuto l'opportunità di farlo ed è una cosa toccante. Céline, sono rimasti
10 secondi. Sappiamo che sei pronta ad intraprendere un impegno triennale a Las Vegas per fare
uno show dopo aver preso un periodo di pausa -- sei pronta?
Céline: Sono pronta. Sono pronta, specialmente una volta che cominci e fai qui e là
cose come quelle di oggi. Sono pronta. Sarà qualcosa di nuovo, anche per me, essere a Las Vegas.
Sarà spettacolare. Sarà un'emozione. Sarà una nuova vita. Sono pronta ad intraprendere questa strada
con mio marito e nostro figlio. Duecento spettacoli l'anno, un grande impegno, ma noi li
affornteremo uno alla volta e la cosa più importante è essere migliori di quello che possiamo fare

Dopo l'intervista con la CNN, Céline ha indossato un grembiule blu (nero per il Palm Beach Post)
e ha servito happy meals a 24 bambini del luogo della Jupiter Christian School, St. Juliana's Catholic School
e della Florence DeGeorge Boys and Girls Club in Northwood, ha autografato T-shirt e Cd.
Il marito della cantante ha detto che dopo l'impegno triennale di Las Vegas ritorneranno nella contea di Palm Beach e manderanno
René-Charles alla Benjamin School. Ha detto che compreranno un terreno a nord di Palm Beach ed ha aggiunto che non sono
veritiere le voci riguardanti il fatto che stessero cercando casa a Manalapan. "Amiamo la comunità del luogo, questo è il luogo in cui vogliamo far crescere nostro figlio,
qui e a Montreal."
As announced, Céline was in Florida into Jupiter Mc Donald's restaurant for the World Children's Day. She said Big Macs are
her favourite... "I love their mayonnaise!" and She got a little nostalgic when she recalled growing up in a town where the
nearest McDonald's was in the next town over.
"One morning I woke up and looked out and said 'Maybe if I take one friend with me, I can walk to it.' I remember I walked
to McDonald's."
And what did she probably sing on the way? Céline started singing "Old McDonald had a farm ... And on this farm he had a McMuffin...".
But yesterday Dion didn't come there to eat. She was raising money for Ronald McDonald House Charities in honor of World Children's Day.
She's also appeared in the TV program "American Morning" on CNN hosted by Paula Zahn. Here's the interview:
Paula Zahn: Great to see you again. Welcome, Celine.
Celine Dion: Hello, everybody. Wonderful to see you. How are you? Good morning.
Zahn: A lot of people won't understand how directly affected your family has been by the Ronald McDonald
House. You have a story about a member of your family getting great care from the house. What happened?
Céline: Well, actually, since I started to sing professionally, I wanted to be involved in helping children, raising some money
through the years... you know, once you're blessed in life, you got to take it and make the best out of it. So we try to centralize
people as much as we can and make a difference in the world. But one of my nieces passed away of cystic fibrosis, and one of
my relatives stayed at a Ronald McDonald House charity in Montreal for a long period of time, which helped tremendously,
their support and their effort through this whole hard time the whole family went through. And they were a big help.
And McDonald's is not only about, if I may say, about hamburgers and fries and soft drinks, but it's about true people who
have families and work hard and make a difference in the world. If I may add, today, it's the largest single-day effort there
will ever be, and they will do this every year in 121 different countries around the world today. We hope [to raise] $40 million.
And this is another wonderful thing. I don't know how much time I have to talk, but let me say to you that it's very hard to ask
people for money. Because first of all, life is very expensive, and it's difficult for us to say through our music and through our
songs, and through the fact that we can go on television and say 'Would you please be generous and give money.' Well, it's
hard, because people work hard and they go through a lot of difficult stuff, and they don't have money. But we're not asking
in a way, we are not asking people to give money and put it in a box. We're asking people today to go and eat at
McDonald's... four different things ... have a good time with their family, and $1 per item will go to this charity to help children
around the world with different causes.
And another thing, if you don't feel like having fast food or you don't want to go out, it's still OK, you can still help. We did a
show last week on television. If you missed the show -- it was great show, by the way. If you missed the show... you can on
the Web site... you can buy the show, and the whole money, not only a part of it, but the whole thing goes to the charity.
And you know, it's wonderful, when you're a mother, this is what counts the most. You want to make a difference, and it starts
today, it starts here. We're asking people, but I'm asking me to make a difference also, and it's right here at McDonald's. So
please help.
Zahn: Describe to our audience what kind of help families get (from Ronald McDonald House), particularly
families who know that their children are living on borrowed time. How comforting is it to have a place like this to go to?
Céline: Well, you know, when you go in a McDonald's charity house, because first of all, when you have a sick
child, it's, obviously, -- you're not even capable of holding your tears, and it's something very, very traumatic, and you go to
hospital, and there is a lot of people, a lot of action and you feel that you are alone in the world. It's like you want the world to
stop and say, listen, my son or daughter is sick, and it's too noisy here, and can you please help? Can you please save my son,
my child, my daughter? And you don't -- it's very difficult to see the light, and sometimes you're going through very, very
dramatic moments.
And At the Ronald McDonald House charity, you are in this intimacy, and you feel that the people are there to help you.
It's not only -- it feels like it's your brothers and sisters, and you know you have the help of the best doctors when you go to
the hospital, but you cannot go home sometimes. You're very far from the hospital, and it's not given to everybody to be right
there.
So some people are brought there to be given help and, at the same time, the support. Their children are at the hospital,
they go through a lot of care; it's wonderful, and the parents -- their children are being operated on many, many times, and
they don't know if they're going to make it. The parents need to be supported.
And at this house of McDonald, people are talking with them and saying, 'Hey, listen, how are you doing? Are you holding
on? Talk to me.' A helping hand. This is what you need sometimes. Your family is many, many hundreds of miles away from,
I don't know, Russia, anywhere. It's around the world. They are brought to this hospital to this house, and the help about care,
and about support and to make a difference in everybody's life. If the parents feel supported, then the child will support it and
receive it and will feel it.
It's help from A to Z, which is wonderful, and I went there a couple of times and one in Montreal and one in Chicago, and
it's amazing the wonderful work they do.
Zahn: I've had the opportunity to do that as well, and it's a pretty moving thing. Celine, we just got about 10
seconds left. We know you are getting ready to embark on a three-year commitment in Las Vegas to do a show after taking
time off -- are you ready?
Céline: I'm ready. I'm ready, especially once you start and do here and there good things like today. I'm ready. I
t's going to be something brand new for me, too, to be in Las Vegas. It's going to be spectacular. It will be a thrill. It will be a
new life. And I'm ready to hit the road with my husband and our baby, and we will take a show at a time. It's going to be a big,
big gig. It's going to be 200 shows a year, but we'll take one at a time, and the most important thing is to be the best of what
you can do and make a difference in somebody's life, and every day to be the best of yourself. So we will take a show at a
time and have a wonderful time.
Zahn: We wish you the best of lucks.
Céline: Perhaps you can come.
Zahn: I would love to come. And I want to take some time out, too. Don't forget to spend some time with all
those commitments with your little boy, Rene Charles. He's beautiful.

After sitting for an interview with CNN, Dion donned a blue apron (a black one according to The Palm Beach Post)
and served happy meals to 24 local kids from
Jupiter Christian School, St. Juliana's Catholic School and the Florence DeGeorge Boys and Girls Club in Northwood. She
sang Old MacDonald had a farm as she signed T-shirts and cds.
After Dion completes a three-year concert gig in Las Vegas, Angelil said the couple and their 21-month old son will move
back to Palm Beach County and plan to send their son to the Benjamin School. He said they will buy land in northern Palm
Beach County sometime this week. He added there was no truth to rumors they were looking at land in Manalapan.
"We love the community here," Angelil said. "This is where we want to raise our son, here and Montreal."

un accordo raggiunto con Angelil nel Giugno del 2000. La petizione accusa anche l’Imperial Palace per la mancanza di un sistema di sicurezza adeguato.
Gli avvocati di Angelil definiscono ridicolo il caso e false le affermazioni.
Marielle Blondeau, una portavoce di Angelil in Montreal, disse martedì che Angelil non aveva nessun commento sul libro e sulle sue asserzioni.
Non so nemmeno se abbia visto questo libro” ha detto Blondeau in un’intervista. Beaunoyer ha detto di non aver chiesto un intervista per il libro
a Mr Angelil perchè il famoso manager è noto per manipolare autori e giornalisti.

The lawsuit alleges Angelil met Kwon at Caesars Palace casino, followed her to the Imperial Palace, fondled her in an elevator,
pushed into her room, locked the door and raped her on March 19, 2000.
She accuses Angelil of assault and sexual battery, seeking unspecified damages in excess of $40,000 and asking a judge to
overturn a settlement reached with Angelil in June 2000. The suit also accuses the Imperial Palace of failing to provide adequate security.
Angelil's lawyers have called the case ridiculous and the allegations false.
Murielle Blondeau, an Angelil spokeswoman in Montreal, said Tuesday that Angelil had no comment on the book or its claims.
"I don't know if Mr. Angelil has even seen this book and he'll have no comment on it," Blondeau said in an interview.
Beaunoyer said he didn't ask Angelil to be interviewed for the book because the former musician and talent agent is notorious
for manipulating authors and journalists.
The book is currently available in French only, but an English version is scheduled for release before Christmas.

Today, Céline will be visiting a McDonald's restaurant in Florida to celebrate World Children's Day. She will be appearing with local children
to support the fundraising effort.
Céline has received two nominations for The American Music Awards: "Best Female Artist" in the
Pop/Rock category (with Sheryl Crow and Pink) and "Best Artist" in the Adult Contemporary
category (with Vanessa Carlton and Five For Fighting). The ceremony will take place at
the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Jan. 13, aired live on ABC.
The nominations are based on sales figures and radio play. Winners are selected by a survey of about 20,000 listeners.
The video of "Goodbye's (The Saddest Word)" will premiere on this coming Sunday at 1:00 a.m.

Dion has said she wants to return to this area after she finishes her $100 million, three-year engagement in Las Vegas.
Frank McKinney sold the five Manalapan lots 2 1/2 years ago for $26.5 million to an unnamed buyer who
took title through a trustee.
The new owner has put the land back on the market for $38.95 million with Gail Cohen at Martha Gottfried Realty.
"You know I can't say anything," Cohen said when asked about Dion's interest.
Dion wouldn't be the first songster to seek solitude in classy Manalapan, which draws many Europeans who don't like
the glare of Palm Beach.
In the meantime,in Palm Beach, some people starts saying good-bye to Céline & Co.! Charlie
Couch, owner and butcher at Charlie's Tanglewood Meat Market says: "I'm surely going to miss 'em, I delivered to them

Los Angeles: Canadian superstar singer Celine Dion has signed a marketing deal worth around 10 million dollars with
US-German automaker DaimlerChrysler, industry sources has said.
The deal, which would last a minimum of two years, will see Dion star in a series of television commercials for the world's
number-three automaker, the official announcement would be made today during a press conference in Vegas.
DaimlerChrysler executives declined to comment. Chrysler Group sales last month were down almost 31 per cent compared
to October 2001.
Sources close to DaimlerChrysler, who asked not to be identified, said Dion's estimated 10-million-dollar endorsement fee
would not include Chrysler sponsorship of her new Las Vegas show that opens at Caesar's Palace in March.
Sources also said Dion's management team unsuccessfully sought more money . The deal would mark the second such
contract between a top musical star and a car company since last month.
British singer and actor Phil Collins agreed last month to hit the road in the United States to help sell cars for Japanese auto
giant Toyota by allowing the firm to use two of his songs for TV commercials .
Céline is currently in Las Vegas. Today she will give a press conference, during which she will make a major

The pact includes her appearance in at least one TV spot. The singer's love
songs match the brand's ad "Drive=Love" .
Chrysler declined to comment. Last year, Dodge inked a multimillion-dollar deal with Aerosmith, sponsoring the band's tour
and using its music in ads. That deal, and the Dion project, were handled by Omnicom's Arnell Group, New York.
The Québec TV station MusiMax is broadcasting the one-hour show 'Télé visez!' retracing Céline's career in
showbusiness. It will be airing this night at 9:00 p.m. ET.
