On May 21 2007, more than 1.5 million people tuned in to the TVA network for a 2-hour special about D'elles for an outstanding 82% share of the audience. During her
spectacular career Celine Dion has sold a combined total of over 185 million albums making her the biggest selling female artist of all time, as presented at the 2004 World Music Awards. In
Canada, eight of Celine Dion's albums have entered the chart in the number 1 position, including 1997's Let's Talk About Love, which holds the record for the highest opening week sales
since the inception of the Neilsen SoundScan chart.
'A New Day...' the five year, 700-show engagement at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, has been sold out every night since its premiere on March 25, 2003 and will close on December 15, 2007.
Since its opening, 'A New Day.' has attracted record crowds and continues to transport more than 4,000 audience members each night to a unique world of performance, passion and theatrical
innovation, with Celine joined on stage by an elite international cast of 48 dancers. Over two-and-half million fans have experienced 'A New Day...' at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace
since its debut.

It marks her tenth No. 1 album in the SoundScan era, and her eighth to debut at the top position. Dion's high-water mark for Canadian sales remains 1997's "Let's Talk About
Love," which had opening week sales of 230,000 -- a record debut which still stands to this day.
Maroon 5 had the unenviable task of going up against Dion this week, but the band managed some decent numbers themselves. Their sophomore album, "It Won't Be Soon Before Long,"
debuted at No. 2 with sales of 20,000. All the movement up top forced Linkin Park's "Minutes To Midnight" (18,000) out of the top spot and down to No. 3, and Claude Dubois' "Duos Dubois"
from No. 3 to No. 4.
In France, Celine takes possession of the FIRST place with her new album in French produced by Jean-Jacques Goldman. Available in 3 different editions, the album
sold more than 55,000 copies. Céline is followed at No. 2 by singer Mika who sold 19,000 copies of his "Life in cartoon Motion" and by Christophe Willem who came in third place
with "Inventaire" (18,000 copies).

Celine's forthcoming album in english (due in Fall 2007) will be "more edgy, more rock, she can sing whatever she wants. She loves to perform
rhythmical tracks even if her repertory is poor of them." Celine, moreover, announced that she already recorded FOUR brand new songs in english.

(7:00 a.m. GMT) Canadian fans of singer Celine Dion can finally breathe a sigh of relief. The Quebec-born diva confirmed Monday that she will tour for the first time in nine years to
promote her new album, D'elles, and will stop in Montreal and Toronto (and in more American cities!). While details of the shows, including dates, still have to be worked out,
Dion told The Canadian Press she expects to be back in Montreal by August, 2008. “It's certain that I'll do shows in Montreal,” she said during an interview at an exclusive golf club in Lake Las
Vegas (South Shore). “You know, I've travelled a lot, I've done many shows, but I haven't seen the world much. I'm going to take advantage of this world tour and my son gives a good
opportunity.” Her tour will include concerts in Europe, Asia and Africa.
Dion, who also didn't rule out additional concerts in other Canadian cities as well, leaked the news about the Canadian content of her tour during the launch of D'elles.
With 13 tracks penned by female writers from Quebec and France, the album is being billed as a tribute to women. It is also her first album of new French-language material since the 2003 release of
1 fille & 4 types. Indeed the much-awaited album comes as the 39-year-old singer embarks on a new phase in her career. This December, Dion will wrap up a successful five-year run at the Las
Vegas hotel Caesar's Palace. “You know, having done a project for five years, it's like wearing the same bathrobe for five years,” Dion said. “It was a security zone for me to wear this same bathrobe
because it was a zone where I felt good.”
Dion has sold more than 175 million albums across the world, making her the No. 1-selling female artist of all time. She has 22 albums to her credit, including compilations.
Her only break from performing came in 2000 when she was pregnant with son Rene-Charles.
Along with D'elles, which hits stores in Canada on Tuesday, Dion already has an English album in the works, which she expects to be released before Christmas.
“I have four recorded,” she said. “But this one won't be a concept album.” Her new French album is a follow up to her 1995 release D'eux, which sold around seven million
copies worldwide.
With the huge success of D'eux, producer Jean-Jacques Goldman was brought back as musical supervisor for D'elles. Among the songwriters on the album is Nathalie Nechtschein,
a young French woman with Down syndrome.“I can't say which song I like best, but I find it extraordinary to sing Nathalie Nechtschein,” Dion said.
And if recording albums and embarking on a major world tour weren't enough for the working mother, Dion said she and her husband would like to have another child.
“That's the best thing still to happen to me,” Dion said. “I've known 25 years of the artistic life, I still have to blossom as a woman.”
During Friday's taping, Celine sang LIVE several songs with French singers: "L'hymne à l'amour" with Maurane and Johnny Hallyday,
"Blueberry Hill" with Johnny Hallyday, "The show must go on"
with Christophe Maé and David Hallyday, "My heart will go on" with Lââm and Amel Bent, 'Caroline' with McSolar and Nolween Leroy... and then she sang in playback 3
songs from D'Elles: Et S'il N'en Restait Qu'une, À Cause and Immensité. The taping finished around 2:30 a.m. and at the end Celine
signed a lot of autographs for her fans.
During Saturday's taping, Celine sang LIVE the wonderful Italian song Caruso with Florent Pagny (this duet will be included
in the French special) and TONS of new songs
in playback: Et S'il N'en Restait Qu'une, Immensité, Je cherche L'ombre, Berceuse, La Diva, Le temps qui Compte,
On s'est Aimé À Cause, Femme comme chacune and more clips from Lettre de Georges Sand, Si j'étais quelqu'un. They also showed few footages taken from
the DVD of "A New Day... (which is scheduled to be released worldwide in 2007, according to celinedion.com): footages of River Deep Mountain High and more footages from
'behind-the-scenes' and A day in the life of Celine. The taping of this special lasted about 9 hours.
As announced, the Quebecer TV-Special will be broadcasted on Monday, May 21st at 8:00 p.m. ET on TVA. The French special will be broadcasted on
Saturday, June 9th on TF1.

Celine Dion e Sade. Non voglio fermarmi al rap. Il rap è facile, voglio collaborare con alcuni artisti così da poter essere ricordato anche fra 20 anni”.

whoever I call, I can get, just because I'm Snoop Dogg. That's too easy (in rap). I want to reach out with some creative artists that's gonna be here 20 years from now."
