report issued yesterday. In fact, the article talked about the fact that René had planned to hire best friend Pierre Lacroix,

"Absolutely not true," René said to Review-Journal through Jennifer Dunne, marketing director for "A New Day..."
at Caesars Palace. Lacroix is René's best friend and was best man when René and Céline got married in Montreal in 1994.
Lacroix's wife, Coco, and Dion are close friends as well. The Review-Journal article continues on saying Céline's career has never been hotter,
and besides mentioning her deals with Coty (for her new fragrance) and Chrysler, it talks also about a "clothing ventures"
but it doesn't add anything else.

Great News! Diva Duets was a hit. I entered the MGM casino at 3:30 PM, March
22, 2003. A man approached me with tickets and I bought the ticket for $20, but as we
started talking he was acting a little suspicious so I asked if the ticket was legit. When I
asked him to wait in line with me to see if I could get in, he hesitated and made some
excuses, but he later offered me a refund so I agreed.
I left that area and went straight to the red carpet, the stars were working in my
favor, no later then five minutes I was behind the ropes. I was with the mass media,
photographers, reporters, and even Entertainment Tonight was there! I was playing the
side kick reporter for
a photographer named Mirek, he was very nice. I was with the media at the red carpet
taking pictures of the celebrities, watching them roll in and out. Beyonce from Destiny’s
Child was one of the last celebrities, and the media started packing up. I was like, “No,
where’s Celine?” Merik said “I guess she’s not coming.” So I asked him if I could have
his press pass and he said “Sure.” You never seen me put something on so fast, and I
thanked him and we said our good-byes.
I walked away from the red carpet and a man (photographer) approached me
saying, “I saw everything you did.” He asked if I took any pictures and I said yes and we
started talking. We went to the back of the building where some celebrities can sneak in if
they don’t want to get interviewed. The man told me not to be shy and act like you own
the place, so I did. When I walked through it was like God was letting me have my
moment with Celine again. She was right there less then ten feet away and as I started
walking closer that distance started to diminish. She was in a beautiful pink DIVA dress
getting interviewed by Sharon Osbourne. I had missed the interview so I don’t know what
they talked about. Celine stood up and came towards where I was because Rene was
standing next to me. I started taking pictures of Celine, there was a wall where she was at
and she started posing against it. She was professional, elegant, and she was stunning.
She went to talk with a young girl who was the finalist on Starsearch. Celine said, She is
a powerful singer and she likes the way she sings. The girl was totally amazed, she had a
big smile on her face. Celine held her face, gave her a hug and a kiss. I said. “Celine
hello!!” Then I leaned in towards her and she came towards me as if I were going to tell
her a secret, but I said, “I’m Shalimar, do you remember me from perfume night?” “She
replied “Oh yes!” I told her “You also signed a picture for me when you were back stage.”
She was leaving to head down to the Colosseum, so I extended my arms and gave her a
hug and we gave each other a kiss on the cheek. That was great because I didn’t get to do
that the last time. She had to rush out, because as we all know she was performing at the
Colosseum, what a trooper. :)
I went back to the MGM arena and when I got there a man asked me if I needed a ticket, I
said “YES” and he gave it to me for FREE. I don’t even know where my seat was, I just
went straight down to floor seats and took the best seats I could find. I had missed
Celine’s performance, but I would not have given up my experience for the world,
because I had a one on one chat with Celine. For all you Celine Fans, we all know this
doesn’t happen very often. I talked to a girl who was sitting above me and she did say that
the song went, “Have You Ever Been In Love.”.
Well I will leave you for now so I can re-run this experience in my head.

waiting backstage for her. Talking about her new hair do she said: "It's easy for me ... In the morning, I just put some gel in it, lipstick, let's go, showtime!

As we reported some days ago, Céline shot a new video-clip at Hurricane Bar & Grill in Vegas. There are now more
news about it. Céline spent Mother's Day there, filming a French-language music video for French star Jean-Jacques Goldman.
The Hurricane, 10420 S. Bermuda Road, is a 2-year-old building with windows and a cheery interior.
Céline is described, not for the first time, as "a down-to-earth lady" by bartender Miranda Parsons.
They used the stage off the bar as video set.
But the blue-carpeted, 12-by-12-foot stage of bar is a bit of a comedown from Céline's 120-foot-wide platform at Caesars.
For the video, stage was redressed with a gold lamé curtain over the Caribbean Sea map.
The video's apparent scenario has the pink T-shirted superstar rocking out with an up-and-coming bar band.

According to a fan who attended recently Céline's show, Celine actually wears two new costumes
during "A New Day...": a new black outfit for "I Surrender" and "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face", and a long
grey dress at the end for the 2 encores. The black one looks very similar to the red outfit she wears for "The Power of Love"
at the beginning. The encore dress is actually pretty simple and plain. It is a grey, sleeveless dress that goes right down
to her toes, and it has crystals sparkle all over it.

Last night, Celine talked on Delilah's radio show, which is one of major night-time radio programs in the US. Delilah's show is about
love songs and dedications and it was Delilah's dream to be able to talk to Celine, as she has already talked to many others.
Céline talked via phone. She talked about her family, her life, her show and the videos she is shooting.
She also mentioned what "Have You Ever Been In Love" means to her when she sings it, she said that the song to her is about her

I "quattro ragazzi" sono i quattro compositori che hanno aiutato Céline in questa nuova avventura: Jean-Jacques Goldman, Eric Benzi,

Céline has just finish to record her new french album: "Une Fille, Quatre types" (= "A Girl, Four guys"). "Four guys" are the
four song-writers who helped Céline in this new adventure: Jean-Jacques Goldman, Eric Benzi, Jacques Veneruzo and Gildas.
The first video had already been shooted in the desert of Nevada (U.S.A.), with the four song-writers! The first single will be

and the world at large is fraught with turmoil, a classic Céline Dion ballad is a warm source of comfort. AC radio programmers
are already tapping into the track, which builds from a gentle, piano-laced opening into a deliciously theatrical, string-framed
climax. All along, Dion offers an appealing palette of vocal colors that range from delicate and breathy to full-bodied and
appropriately dramatic. It remains to be seen if top 40 radio has room for this single, which deserves to be a mainstream
smash. Regardless, expect adult-driven airwave saturation.

TF1 last night. First of all Céline talks to her French audience. She says French people are very generous,
and that the Stade de France is still one of her greatest memory. The show shows the same songs showed during the
April 25 CBS special but with a little difference: they shows "I Wish" instead of "Fever".
The list-song: "The Power Of Love", Céline wears a red dress. "I'm Alive",
"I've got the world on a string", Céline dances splendidly!! "The first time ever I saw your face":
Céline is on her stage and dancers fly around her then she flies too! "I Wish", Céline wears black and
white clothes, she dances too. At the end she is so exhausted that she falls, lying on the stage!!! :-)
"I drove all night". Then Céline talks a little about René-Charles, and tells that even if the world can look
