Ha cantato dapprima, in modo straordinario, "I Drove All Night" (compresa la nota
altissima alla fine della canzone). Poi dopo il break pubblicitario ha chiaccherato
con uno dei presentatori dicendo fra le altre cose che dopo Las Vegas le piacerebbe
accompagnare Rene Charles a scuola. Dopo la breve intervista Céline ha cantato "Have You
Ever Been In Love" ed in seguito ad un'alto break pubblicitario "Love Can Move Mountains"

According a Céline fan, Tal, who has just attended "Today" Show at Rock. Plaza in New York,
Céline sang THREE songs!! She wore pink pants, a white lacey shirt and a fitted yellow blazer over top and
gold hoop earrings. She sang "I Drove All Night" first (the song was awesome! And she was totally
able to hit that incredibly high note at the end of the song. Then after a commercial break she chatted a bit with Matt
saying that after Las Vegas she would like to drive Rene Charles to school. After this short interview she sang
"Have You Ever Been In Love" and then after another commercial she sang "Love Can Move Mountains"
coming into the audience! Before she performed on tv she rehearsed "IDAN" and "HYEBIL."

The Gatinois have embraced Dion with open arms. The Hilton hotel, the
$2,500-a-night hotel suite, has put an entire floor at her disposal at no cost. The expansive suite includes a fireplace,
a grand piano, a dining area and two washrooms. Access to the floor requires a magnetic card - even for the hotel
room-service team.

Ieri Céline ha ricevuto un trionfante benvenuto da una grande folla di fans al suo arrivo alla Maison de la
Culture di Gatineau per una prova costumi per il gala di questa sera in tributo di Eddy Marnay.

Céline received a triumphant welcome from a large crowd of fans yesterday as she arrived at La Maison de la
Culture in Gatineau for a dress rehearsal for a gala tribute show.
"Céline! Céline! Céline!" the crowd of about 100 fans chanted in unison after Céline stepped out of a grey minivan
accompanied by her husband, René Angélil, and several bodyguards.
Looking radiant and relaxed in a tan outfit and wearing black sunglasses, Céline quickly strode up to the fans
behind the metal barricades and signed several autographs before heading into the building.
Sylvie Marleau of Gatineau was one of the many fans who called out to Ms. Dion for an autograph as the singer walked
toward the entrance. "I said to her, 'I saw your show in Las Vegas,' and she said, 'Good for you'," said Ms. Marleau,
wearing a black Caesars Palace T-shirt with Céline Dion stamped on it.
"Then she said, 'You saw me in Las Vegas, and now I come back here to see you'," said Gabrielle Paquette, a
friend of Ms. Marleau, who also got the singer's autograph.
Young and old fans lined the barricades for hours waiting for Céline.
None was younger than Gabrielle Groulx, a Grade 2 pupil who was accompanied by her parents.
Holding her favourite rag doll, the eight-year-old proudly showed off the doll that Céline autographed.
"My daughter just asked her to sign her doll, and she did. It's her favourite doll, which she's had for seven years," said
Stéphanie Groulx, the young girl's mother.
Security was tight yesterday at La Maison de la Culture, with police officers positioned at both the main
entrance and the side door to the building. The public was not allowed to enter the theatre to watch the rehearsals, which
ran all day. Julie Carrière, artistic director of the theatre, said security will also be beefed up tonight for the hundreds of fans
expected to arrive to catch a glimpse of Céline.
Gatineau florist Joel-Marc Frappier has been working non-stop for the past three days preparing dozens of floral
arrangements for Ms. Dion
"It's very unusual to be given carte blanche, but I was not given any conditions this time," said Mr. Frappier, who has
done flowers for Ms. Dion on several occasions.
He is preparing 200 white roses for Céline's dressing room in the theatre, as well as white calla lilies, which are also
favourites of Ms. Dion's mother.
"There will be roses on Céline's counter and the coffee table in her dressing room. I'm also bringing candles in the room to
give it a sultry, sexy feel, but also a very calm feeling."
The tribute show begins tonight at 7:30 p.m. and it's expected to run for at least two hours.
A news conference is scheduled for after the show (it will be broadcasted at 10 p.m. on RDI) , which Céline is expected to attend.
However, she may skip a private reception and leave for New York, where she is making several promotional stops,
including an appearance Friday on Live with Regis and Kelly !!!!

di sè come se non ci fosse un domani! Ha salutato il pubblico con la canzone "God Bless
America". I fans erano in visibilio e si poteva sentire la gente dire: "Avevo la pelle
d'oca!!". Céline ha cantato questa canzone con una forza e passione pari al
telethon televisivo dell'11 Settembre. Irradiava una tale energia per tutta la durata della
performance. Era troppo eccitata per l'ultimo show perchè non vedeva l'ora di iniziare le sue
vacanze e trascorrere del tempo con suo marito e suo figlio. Alla fine dello show era così
entusiasta che stava saltando dal palcoscenico e la gente andava di matto!!

Here is an exclusive about Celine’s shows on July 4th and the 6th. Celine was upbeat
throughout the whole show. She was singing and dancing her heart out like there was no
tomorrow. She wowed the crowd with the sentimental song of "God Bless America". The
fans went wild and you could hear the people say, “That gave me goosebumps.” Celine
sang that song with such passion and power like she did for 9/11 televised telethon. She
radiated so much energy during the whole thing. She was so excited for the last show
because she couldn’t wait to start her vacation and spend some time with her lovely
husband Rene and beautiful child Rene Charles. She was so ecstatic when the show
ended, that she was even jumping off the stage, and the crowd was going crazy. They kept
shouting, “I love You Celine!!”
Well this was the last show for the month of July, us Celine
fans will have to wait a whole month for our Diva to be back at the Colosseum.

theatre this morning for a rehearsal. Reports indicate Céline, her husband René Angélil and their entourage are

of the tribute show, said Céline will sing at least THREE songs in the show, although he declined to name them.

A popular game entertainers play, often while on tour, is collecting marbles from each other (if we fully understood it, we'd

The point is, dancer Jacinthe Pauze ended up with 88 marbles -- and Céline presented her with a $5,000 prize out of
her own pocket. Candy Olsen won a $1,000 prize when Céline's husband, Rene Angelil, deemed her skit
"the best of the worst" -- she was one of five folks with the fewest marbles and had to put on a brief performance. She
played a wacked-out cheerleader. Most of the guests ended up spending the night at the opulent hotel and recapping
the festivities around the pool the next afternoon.
Céline was also amused to hear Mariah Carey lost her shoes during a show in Fukuoka, Japan, on
Saturday night.
Of course, Céline famously lost her shoes on the opening night of her Vegas engagement at The Colosseum at Caesars
Palace in March.
Carey takes over Celine's stage July 26 to open the U.S. leg of her "Charmbracelet" world tour.
Country star Tim McGraw plays two shows at The Colosseum a weekend earlier, on July 18 and July 19.
"Tim McGraw wears cowboy boots, yes? Hopefully it will be hard for him to lose them,
