Quebecers Still Like Céline, After 25 years!
(3:50 p.m. GMT) People from the Canadian province of Québec aren't tired of Céline Dion. After the very good result of
"Un An Avec Céline", the NEW TV-Special Céline Dion - 25 ans d'amour (posted soon on our website!)
seduced most of Quebecers last Sunday. It was the most-watched
TV-broadcasting of week-end with almost 800,000 viewers from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Weekend at "Holmes"
(7:20 a.m. GMT) New Zealand broadcaster Paul Holmes visited Las Vegas over the weekend to shoot interviews for two upcoming TV specials.
To accompany the obligatory sparkling-Strip panoramas, Holmes was slated to interview showroom headliners Céline Dion and Donny Osmond, among
others. "From these interviews we are hoping to produce two hour-long Las Vegas specials screening in July and August," reports executive
producer Pip Keane of New Zealand's Sky Television.

competitors. The ratings showed the remarkable strength of that game show. "Deal or No Deal" was the highest-rated program of the night. Its 90-minute
denouement, which featured Céline Dion, delivered 18 million viewers in Nielsen's estimates. By its final half-hour, an audience of 21.2 million
had tuned in, 10 million of whom departed once "The Apprentice" finale began at 9:30 p.m.

A Historical Quebec Television Premier
An exceptional career deservers an exceptional tribute. To mark the 25th anniversary of Celine Dion's career, six television channels collaborate
for a special tribute to the singer. TVA, RADIO-CANADA, ARTV, TQS, MUSIMAX, and PRISE 2 have scheduled special programming
to highlight the achievements of a singer with a unique journey. She reached the top as no other Quebec artist has done before.
Each channel will broadcast a series of shows featuring music videos, interviews and other footage from Celine's remarkable career. This retrospective will
allow Quebecers to see the journey Celine has taken so far. It is the story of a little girl from Charlemagne with a big heart, who eventually became the greatest
singer of her generation.
The special 25th Anniversary tribute will begin on June 16 almost 25 years to the day of Celine's first television appearance, which was on

(6:30 a.m. GMT) It began as a five-night stint back in December. Now, NBC's hot game show, Deal or No Deal, one of the network's few ratings successes this season,
winds up a 39-episode run Monday, June 5th with a 90-minute finale (8 p.m. ET/PT).
With host Howie Mandel, the multi-night Deal has averaged nearly 14 million viewers an episode. The Monday night installments, averaging 15.7 million,
ranked 13th for the season. "It has been a nice success story for the network," says Craig Plestis, NBC reality-show chief.
For the finale, the stakes have been raised. Top prize is $5 million for contestant Casey Bell, a high school guidance counselor from Temecula,
Calif. Bell's favorite singer, Celine Dion, is beamed via satellite from Las Vegas to help answer the all important question: Deal ... or no deal?
"It's a big deal for our family to be on Deal or No Deal," Dion says. "I do not watch a lot of television, but we have been hooked on that TV
show." She says it's because of her son, Rene-Charles, 5. Dion and her husband, Rene Angelil, have dinner at the kitchen table and watch the show with him.
"We love it. We cheer. We can't stand still." René-Charles is such a fan, she says, that when he decided to play the game at home, "Dad
had to go to the store one night about two months ago. We had to buy some cases just like on the show."
