1 fille & 4 types sold more than 100,000 copies each in Quebec this year.
The article says that these two albums are among the 10 best selling albums in Quebec but

France 2 è stato visto da 3.305.840 telespettatori, ottenendo il 17,4 % di share.
Purtroppo lo show ha perso il duello del prime-time serale francese contro il varietà
Disques d'or andato in onda su TF1, il quale ha totalizzato il doppio dello share con 6.238.440 di telespettatori. Ad ogni modo lo show non era dedicato
interamente a Céline, la quale ha cantato solo 4 canzoni.

getting the 17,4 % share. Unfortunately the special lost the French prime-time duel against

a special dedicated to Céline but she sang only 4 songs.

"Les Plus Belles Voix Québécoises" (Le più belle voci del Quebec).
Céline ha cantato quattro canzoni: "Tout L'Or Des Hommes" (in playback),

The French TV Network France 2 has just aired the TV special "Les Plus Belles Voix Québécoises"
(The Best Voices From Quebec). Céline sang four songs: "Tout L'Or Des Hommes" (in playback),
"Quand On N'a Que L'Amour" (live duet with Maurane), "J'Irai Ou Tu Iras" (live duet
with Garou) and "Je T'Aime Encore" (in playback). During the show the two hosts also

next year's Miracle project are ready but Céline hasn't record her songs yet... they will
be all new songs ! Maybe the picture-book and the CD will be sold together in an only package
available both in book shops and music stores but it's still a work in progress. Picture-book
may also come out with a song of Céline enclosed and Céline's booklet album may come out with
Anne Geddes's pictures.

Céline's A New Day... show is the second highest-grossing concert in North America !!
Céline played 144 sold-out shows that grossed $80.5 MILLION at the Colosseum and
outclassing performers like Rolling Stones ($38.5 million), Shania Twain ($40.8 million) and Cher ($68.2 million).
Bruce Springsteen was the boss of the concert business in 2003, raking in $115.9 million US.

Montreal (CP) - Céline's voice was choked with emotion yesterday as she urged the public to donate to a local children's
hospital where her niece died a decade ago. But she was relatively composed at the event, a stark
contrast to the flow of tears she shed last year at a similar appeal for donations to Ste-Justine Hospital. Céline and husband/manager
Rene Angelil, both part of the fundraising campaign, once again urged people to give generously to the hospital.
"Who will benefit from all this (money)? Our children, our teenagers, our mothers," said Céline, "It's time for the parents,
individuals, families, all of us, to be generous - to open our hearts. The life of a child obviously doesn't have a price."Céline and René are patrons of a five-year campaign to raise money for research, equipment, beds and an enlarged cancer
facility at Ste-Justine. She said $76 million has been collected so far and the foundation's goal is $100 million in public donations.
Several large corporations have already donated major sums. René said the donations will help to build and maintain pediatric-care
expertise and technology in Quebec. "When a child is sick, not everyone has the luxury to go to Boston or Houston or another
city to be treated," he said. "if we can buy a Christmas gift for someone, then we can also send a gift to our children."
Céline and René also announced the largest donation ever made to the Sainte-Justine
Hospital Foundation... $5,000,000 donated by Marcelle and Jean Coutu Fondation.

as she left the service with her family. Céline, attired in a black pantsuit and holding a small bouquet of flowers, smiled
slightly and waved to her supporters as she entered and exited the church.
She looked sad but composed as she accompanied her mother and her husband and manager, Rene Angelil.
Among the priests helping with the mass was a representative of the Greek Melkite faith, Angelil's religion, and the minister
who married Céline and René and baptized their son, Rene-Charles.
She is expected to perform in Las Vegas tonight.

to say goodbye to her father, who has been described as her No. 1 fan.
Céline, who was carrying a bouquet of flowers and also seemed tired, acknowledged the crowd of several hundred
townsfolk with a slight nod and wave.
Her husband and manager, Rene Angelil, followed Céline and her mother, Therese, into the St-Simon and Jude church.
Other family members then made their way into the church. Bells tolled as the casket was carried into the red brick
church in this small community about 40 kilometres northeast of Montreal.
Townsfolk watched as 20 limousines, 15 cars carrying flowers and five busloads of family and friends arrived for the
invitation-only service. About 350 people were expected to attend the service, including 200 members
of the Dion family. "There will be no room for the public inside the church," said local police officer Paul Diamond.
Security guards and provincial police also were on hand with local officers to block off streets in Dion's hometown and
allow the funeral to proceed smoothly.

came to pay their respects to her father, who died over the weekend.
Céline, her family and husband Rene Angelil formed a receiving line near Adhemar
Dion's casket at a funeral home near Montreal. She and her family shook hands and accepted
cards of condolence from family friends as well as strangers. "Thank you all for being here," she said
to a stranger. "It is good of you to take the time for us." About 400 persones visited the
funeral home.
Several dozen fans had lined up in the bone-chilling cold outside the funeral home, some
for several hours. A number of them brought flowers. Police directed traffic and blocked off
streets outside the home. A long black limousine was parked in front. Some fans, such as
Mona Boulay, said she was surprised Céline showed up at the viewing.
"I was sure she wouldn't be here," added Boulay, who was thanked by Céline before leaving the
funeral home. "I was happy to have seen her." Norman Hayes, who said he's a close
friend of Céline's father, said he wasn't surprised Céline came to greet visitors.
"What we saw was that she is simple, she was there with her dad and with the public,"
said Hayes. "She opened the doors for the public. It's not everyone who would do that."
Céline fan Mary-Anne Nugent, 36, came from nearby Ste-Rose to pay her respects.
"I'm a big fan of Celine Dion," said Nugent, one of the first in line to enter the home for
the two-hour visitation. "I wanted to see her and tell her I'm sorry about her father. My
father is gone too and I know how she feels." Lorette Mongeau lined up with her husband,
her two daughters, her son and his two friends. "I came to see Celine to pay tribute to her
father," said Mongeau. "I've followed Céline for a long time."
Security precautions were also evident during a private family visitation on Tuesday
and were expected again for today's private funeral at 11 a.m. ET.

and her family made this choise. "It will be a very traditional funeral" - deacon of the church

Celine will be attending private family services in Montreal on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Performances will resume
as scheduled beginning Friday, December 5th at 8:00pm.
Those with tickets to either one of two cancelled performances may contact the original point of purchase
regarding ticket exchanges and refunds. Ticketholders who purchased through Ticketmaster may call 1-877-4-CELINE.

Adhemar, suo padre, avrebbe voluto che lei si fosse esibita lo stesso.Questa mattina Céline partirà da Las Vegas con il suo jet privato e arriverà a
Montreal nel corso della giornata.
I funerali di suo padre sono previsti per giovedì mattina a Charlemagne.
Tutta la giornata, parenti ed amici sono affluiti nella casa di Laval per porgere le loro
condoglianze alla famiglia Dion e alla moglie di Adhemar Thérèse Tanguay-Dion. Il padre di Céline
è stato lucido sino alla fine. Lo scorso Gennaio fu ricoverato per un intervento all'anca. Soffriva di un cancro alle ossa.
La sua famiglia e suoi amici sono unanimi nel riconoscerlo come un pilastro... un uomo fortissimo!

Last night's show at Colosseum was the hardest show of Céline's life. She is engaged
on a contract with Caesars Palace and so she had to perform and respect the 4,100 persons who
bought tickets for her show...The show must go on and then Adhemar, her father,
would have liked her to perform the same her show.
Celine is leaving Las Vegas by her private jet this morning and she'll arrive in Montreal later during the day.
Her father's funeral is set for Thursday morning in Charlemagne.
All the day, friends and relatives crowded to the house of Laval to offer their condolences to Dion family
and to Adhemar's wife Thérèse Tanguay-Dion. Céline's father was lucid till the end. Last January he was admitted
to hospital for an hip-operation. He suffered from a cancer to his bones.
His family and his friends are unanimous on recognizing him as a pillar... a very strong man!

The father of Céline, Adhemar Dion, died yesterday morning at the age of 80. His death was confirmed yesterday at
9:45 a.m. ET. A statement released by the family says Adhemar Dion died in his sleep on
Sunday after a long but unspecified illness. The statement says he was surrounded by family at his home in Laval (Quebec).
He married Thérèse Tanguay (Céline's mother) 58 years ago; they had 14 children. Céline - the youngest of 14 children - was not
present and she performed the same last night at Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
Adhemar's body will be exposed at the Funerary Residence
Alfred Dallaire of the St-Martin boulevard in Laval (Quebec) as from Tuesday. Whoever
wishes to pay a last homage to Mr. Dion and to
offer his condolences to Dion family will be able to do them on Wednesday between 5 p.m. and
7 p.m. ET. The funeral is set for Thursday morning in Charlemagne,
the family's hometown northeast of Montreal.
